    I have entered myself and Lilly in a ice fishing derby end of Febuary. Boy was she excited when I told her.

      It,s one of our large suppliers. A family event day. They drive us out to the grounds. Heated tents and bbq. All the kids get prizes. Sounds like a fun day to spend with her. It,s going to be out from Gilford.

    If you feel the need to spend for high end and think it will enhance your chances for that one great fish, go for it. Myself, I use the $35-$100 dollar reels and all but one, has let me down. I have never lost a fish cause the reel exploded. I buy the more expensive ones used. Only from people I know that take care of them and I get them at 1/2 price of new.

    WOW I need to slow down and look more. That,s a great shot. Side note, I spent 3 hours this morning driving and parking and looking for that Snow owl everyone is seing here. All I seen were turkeys and a few kids playing shinny hockey on a patch of ice in a field. I know when I find it,I will be in awe.
