Power out here last night at the plant around 9:30. Woke up at 4am to darkness. 8500 without power due to a pole on fire. So what are your thoughts on this road salt spray vapor theory? Why now are they saying this is whats causing down lines?

No,my next one is something Im thinking about doing a production run. I see that there was a dragons den thing here in Barrie a week or so ago. To bad I didnt know about it. My next one is way different. If you missed it,I call it a ,smitty in a bag. Just working on how to get it in a bag.LOL Well I do,but need to find a supplier. Before I made this Smitty,( my first) I seen a lot of them out on the ice the last couple of years. After this first year of having it,I cant believe I didnt have one before. It held all my gear that I needed for my days outing. Heater,finder,shovel,auger,drill and hub and of course,my fighting sticks. It served me well I must say. The only mishap was the one ski broke off when towed by the yamadoo. Was not surprised,as it was built to be pulled by walking, not meant to be banged off snow drifts at warp speed. LOL. With the new rebuild,it is solid now to be towed with ease. I know the new owner will get alot of fun out of it next season and seasons beyond. We still got a bit of time for some perching and pike. I cant wait til I get my new one built. Been a fun ice season .

Being as I have always been a ford guy (last ruck was a 97 F150), but now drive a Ram 1500,2014, they are both trucks. Ford served me well, and this new one serves my purpose. Im happy with the new ride so far.

I have owned the Viking suit. It,s a good suit,but like Lew said.

You want a perfect butt chop? Indirect heat. You dont need flame to cook them. Doing this method allows the meat to cook slow and allow the fat to drip away with no flame ups. Once it,s at the desired tenderness, I just throw them on the hot grill for some char . I love indirect heat cooking. Chicken,ribs and one of my fav, meat loaf. Smoke chips are a great addition as well. Ya you use more propane,but it,s the bomb. Im in the market for a new BBQ this year.

Lets hope so Ralph, but I think with the glaucoma,I will still need to take my drops and have check ups once a year.
