  1. Ah the spring forward ,fall back time. Was thinking of this post as I sat in darkness on the river bank waiting for enough light to see my float. I am an early bird when it comes to getting to my spots. I like to be the first one there, get the spot. I sat for an hour this morning gazing at the bright stars above enjoying my morning coffee. This time of the year makes me think maybe sleep in a bit, but thats not going to happen. During the summer months, I can be fishing at 5 am when the light has started and watch great sunrises. If getting to my spot early and means I need to sit and wait and gaze upon the stars, Im good with that. I dont let it effect me in the least. Come the ice fishing season, I like to get out and get set up before light.( when I know it,s safe out there) Again, sitting there in a warm hut having a coffee thinking of what the day will bring. Then the spring forward comes. It all starts over again.

  7. When a group of four anglers started talking politics this morning on the river, I just waded my way down from them, so I didnt have to listen to it. They did noticed though when I had fish on. LOL

Throw a couple of the hot hands packs in your bag or blanket, they're amazing for that type of use.

  20. The six runs no sweat drill holes all day. It,s the 8 that is causing some issues. Yes I can drill 8,s all day as well, but it takes it,s toll on the drill. I wouldn't of believed it, but it does as I have the drill to prove it. Thank goodness for warranty.
  21. In Barrie, I frequent Johnnys seafood. DA BEST. Looks like I will be adding 2 more stops to my bye weekend drop downs ketchenany. Still have the address.
  22. Pulaskie N.Y- Fish caught in lake Ontario can now be safely eaten on a more regular basis~~ up to four meals a month.
  23. Thanks giving weekend. That means crowds. Guess I best get the bush wacking boots out.

  24. That's for me to know and you to find out. It would seem my thoughts and theory are off. The bearing that holds the drill, allows for little to no torque. Hugging the drill in tight to the body works, but not the best. Im talking for the 8" auger here. Talking to another person that has the set up, they never had a problem the last two years. Will also help with the arthritis in my hands and wrists.
