This^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Is why they do it and know they will get only a slap. We dont have the jails to keep all these birds locked up. They know they will get what, 2-3 months out in 1 month. Some areas on the east side had a good ice build up, but I too will err to the almost and stay off til we get next weeks freeze up. This west wind, just may make that ice on that side shift big time.

First off, nice work whom ever you are. I would add another piece to hold the rod better. I have never got these things. IMO,you have to be on aggrisive fish for these things to work. Im not sure about you all, but perch fishing is finnesse fishing. I would say it would work good for pike, but I still wouldnt use one.
