From what you are saying then, I would go 2 piece forsure. Even out in the boat you can remove the coat when it warms up. Also less cumbersome working with the gear.
Are you an open fisher or i a portable fisher?
I dont own one of these, but asking as if you are using a portable, a 2 pice would be my choice. Able to take the coat off and fish in comfort. I would still use a two piece in the open, but a one will hold your heat better.
I would go with the salus brand. it is moveable material.
I watched three guys on the weekend put on one piece suits right out of thier cars. They were fighting to put them on. They freeze up quick.
Yes Steve the same. I have never had a problem staying warm with mine. I love the lined chest pockets. My under wear is HH. That and track pants,t-shirt and a hoody is all I have worn. Great for wicking and keeps me toasty.
We dont put ourselves in positions. We can be on a solid 5-10 inches of black ice walking about fishing. Then theres that one spot that is like 2". This happens lots out there. Theres also those snow covered hut holes that are not marked. Better to be prepared then not IMO.
Im sure glad terry dosent have them. WHEWY.
Im looking at one for next year. My clam ice armour is not a float suit, but man is it warm. Just dont float like I said. Pretty much the same though as far as wearing.
I left mine outside for about 6 hours yesterday. The battery still had a full charge when I pushed the tell tale button. I have yet to use a second battery, even after drilling 40+ holes in 10" of ice.
The dewalt ones I always kept in the hub.
Seems ,all that have witnessed it and used it this weekend and the past two, are liking it. I heard a guy this morning with a gasser. I yelled at him, take it out of reverse dude. This was after all three of us were already set up and fishing when he started pretty much at the same time. LOL
I have yet to do a video as fishing is priority, but the fishing slows, I will do one so ya all can witness the wonder. LOL
Yes Sail has not been, but the others have been for years. I mean many years. Theres a reason they dont have booths anymore. They dont need to. They have the loyal customers and have great sales through out the year. I remember walking in the front of the shows and seeing Le Barons, right there front and center. Thier magazine with special flyers and a few free baits in a bag to try.
Im not bashing you here , just voicing my opinion. These shows need creation. I know it,s not like it was bac then, but ya, for the kids, it,s a great day out.
They are the best boot for warmth and keeping your feet dry on those slushy days, but yes, they do have a bit of wieght.
4th year for mine and same inner boot. Love them.
And this happen, just after telling you I had not had an issue with mine. I had two bottles on the floor of the truck getting warm before heading out this morning. Fired right up. I almost had to build a bridge to go over the mot outside. LOL
Was nice to meet you and the boys Emile.
