  1. This is true. I have had my Eskimo 2 man going on my 4th year now. Snapped a pole due to rushing the closing of it. Replaced it with one of those fiberglass drive way markers. ( easy to replace the poles ) I found it a pain sometime opening on windy days. Trying to hold that bit of a tab fabric loop they have to pull the sides out. It,s a learning curve at first, but I can set mine up in minutes even on the windiest days. I made a simple hook to grab the eye bolt, not the fabric loop. ( those loops break ). Also using bungie cords instead of the shoe lace that comes with them is much easier. Putting the anchors in is a breeze with the adaptor I made for the dewalt. One thing I like about mine, is how tight it is. No flapping walls in the wind. Solid hub IMO. As for the windows. I have heard the same thing. If you play with them when it,s cold out, the bust up. I have never touched mine. I hardly even have the flaps that cover them open. I just leave the two vents open. Thats enough fresh air coming in. I can even have my mitts on when using this simple home made hook. Works like a charm. I even made my own screw anchor adaptor. Makes quick work using the dewalt.

  8. I quickly posted as I was busy, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I take from my pop here. He has trees he can cut down and split, but wants to keep what he has standing now. it will come down though if dead. So now he orders in logs. He cuts and splits and stacks a years or more worth. Says the saving is double if not triple, then ordering in cords.
  9. Ya, I did see the price at CTC yesterday. WOW

  11. -6 at first light. The old hands knew they were going to be put to the test. Perfect waters, perfect drift could be seen. Went 4+1 special bonus fish. Nice 16" brown trout. Sometimes, limited water time, works best.

  19. I had to make a quick stop at wally world. I arrived to find a line up. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. So asked whats up bud? Lined up for the new, old style nintendo. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Heres the kicker. 60 people lined up. Only 3 games in the store. They were handing out rain checks. I was in and out with my shaving cream and deoderant. LOL
  20. I was really impressed with the ride on Lews Skeeter. It was a smooth comfortable ride. When I was an AM and a scrutineer, I got to be on many different boats. Sure each driver drives thier own way, but I was uncomfortable on some. One that comes to mind, was the Ranger walleye boat. My back was so sore after our day out. I was also out on a champion. That thing was a rocket and never once did I feel uncomfortable. Then there was the legend bass boat. OMG. IMO, the caddilac of them all. Just my thoughts, and I wish I was in your boat, sorta speak Ranger. Good luck on your choice. Im sure it wont be easy.
