  2. Your holding them out too far haha. Nice largies, the one on your right looks big, huge head! Nice job keep em coming
  3. wow beauty laker for sure...got a trolling rod/reel now with some leadcore...going to try and find one on my camping trip next month, one of those would be unreal! Thanks for sharing
  4. Unreal report, keep getting your kid out as much as you can. Wish we had camera's and photo's like this from when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing, looked like a great experience. Too many kids stuck inside these days
  5. I got a dozen over 6 opening week Adding weight is silly and something everybody wishing they were fishing talk about. Honestly, post your pics I weigh bass I believe are going to be over 4lbs. But fish we get in the start of the year are fat, you may find 22" largies that are mid 4lbs and skinny when you know in the fall or after the right week they can be well over 5lbs. A bass is a bass, the bigger the better! Still chasing my PB of 6-14...one day
  6. Very nice report!
  7. Great report, looks like you two had a blast out there!
  8. Nice largie, one or 2 of those every day is what we look for pitching Thanks for sharing
  9. Nice job, thanks for the report!
  10. Giant, congrads
  11. Have you tried the Lake Fork Ring Weight? The LF Ring Weight is a good alternative for wacky rigging and getting your bait down some. Weighted "wacky jig's" like VMC or the Gamakatsu G Finesse wacky jig's are nice. Never played around with deep water senko fishing, you can drop shot the 4" or 3" version's on a small hook I'm sure it would work well. Bring some Tube jig's with 1/4oz or 3/8oz heads try them deeper down. If the fish are on bottom then get deeper. Try a mid range crankbait, something 14-20ft might find them suspending.
  12. Shimano will take care of you. As long as the rod has not been "abused" warranty replacement should not be a problem. If they have lot's of stock they may do it over the counter but most of the time we send them back, if in stock in Peterborough you should see a new rod in under 3 weeks. Shipping should be under $15
  13. Nice job, I fish all day looking for a solid 5 or 6 bites, some days you get more other days you struggle. The joy's of bassin
  14. I think those are all 2012 winners from last summer.
  15. Only downfall is the plastic hood...they break and I've dealt with close to 9 or 10 reels over a 2 year span...not a ton but definitely something to consider when buying a reel for a season or 10. Nice material cool line guide but moving parts break over time...Wonder if they will get back into the rod world this summer
  16. proud to be apart of PowerTeam Lure's Pro Staff, going to do my best!

  17. Looking forward to the new Chronarch CI4+, as well as some of the new models of G.Loomis NRX rods!
  18. My digital baitcasters, calais and calcutta, never have i casted in head on wind and watched the reel fire the bait out a mile.
  19. Swamp water out north of kingston
  20. Fight harder than any other fish. Here is one from last summer pushing 7lbs on the slop frog A summer before then another giant Many small ones too, they are in the shallow water but with thick cover above. They are settled best in the warm water, turns out I frog lot's and find them in the same places bass live. Here is a 10lb 1oz monster bass opening week in the evening on a popper & 10lb Braid, unreal battle. Hate em but there fun to catch
  21. Week 5 starts today, another 25 day's at the shop working and I'll be froggin, flippin and waking up in paradise

  22. Nice job guys
  23. Very nice Musky Lew, congrads. Glad you had a good trip up there! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  24. More of something to refer to. I've always been a visual fisherman picturing points coming out, logs, eying a weedline or edge. After using a Humminbird the other week water temp's play a big role. Used them lot's and build a pattern around them. As for finding bass not so much yet, market 1 or 2 rock piles driving around you can see your speed and cruise a little better...Guess I need Structure Scan to really get the jist of things
