You had a good day. Thanks for sharing the video.

My son now owns two kayaks. Both are Pelican brand from Canadian Tire. He bought the second one so if his wife, son or a friend wanted to go with him he or she could go also. He spent a lot of time last year in rentals before he decided what kayak model best suited him. He has modified one for fishing. I prefer my boat but I can see why he and others like kayaks.

I use the Nautilus batteries in my boat with no dissatisfaction. They last about 8 years. That said I only have my Raymarine fishfinder and starting my engine drawing power.

Found pictures of a 16 foot 1962 Crestliner I owned. It had a 1968 65 Mercury. I bought it for a project to do. Never did. Sold it a few years ago. I did have it on Lake St. Clair a few times and it handled well but was very warm under that roof. I don't know where it is now. I thought it was a cool looking little boat.

That is nice.

Yes. That is who it looks like.

Is that David Spade wearing the white shirt? Kind of looks like him.

Illegal Bear hunt results in $60,000.00 in fines
Bill replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
I think the fines are too minimal. On average $6,000 each. May slow them down but they may continue in the future when they figure the ministry isn't watching them any longer. -
If I was going to buy a bass boat it would be the Allison BasSport Pro Elite. I really like the appearance of this boat.
-
That should be a fun trip.

I can be to either Lake St. Clair or Lake Erie within a half hour drive of my home. My boat will not be in the water until Covid-19 is done. Staying at home is such an easy thing to do.

My son got me into Bass fishing. Before Bass fishing I fished for Perch, Bluegill and Sunfish. Vacation would see me on northern lakes fishing for Lake Trout. I thank my son for getting me to fish for Bass.

https://ckxsfm.com/local-boat-ramps-and-launches-remain-open-for-now/ I do not agree with this. Thought I would share it though.

Your dog sure gets excited when you catch a fish.

New Tackle and Fishing Report - COVID 19
Bill replied to grimsbylander's topic in General Discussion
Hey Grimsbylander just bought this. Give him a chance to option it out. LOL -
The Port Authority has confirmed with the health unit that all marinas & boat ramps are considered outdoor recreation facilities & as per the provincial order announced today are to be closed. The Province of Ontario, issued a new emergency order to prohibit organized public events, social gatherings & to close all outdoor recreational amenities, sports fields, playgrounds, all communal or shared, public or private, outdoor recreational amenities everywhere in Ontario The above was posted yesterday. Only those that have their boats in the water already or can get their boats in the water in a manner like what SmokestackLightnin can are currently allowed water access. However those individuals still must adhere to safe distancing requirements.

New Tackle and Fishing Report - COVID 19
Bill replied to grimsbylander's topic in General Discussion
Looks like it could be a fun game. Enjoy. I don't have XBOX 360. Do they make this game Atari compatible? -
How do you like the seat ride? Smooth Move Seat?

The fines will be issued but it isn't going to happen immediately. Party weather isn't here yet.
