  1. I think the government had to close boat ramps, both public and privately owned, not to stop those going fishing but to stop those who party at spots on the lake. Lake St. Clair has an area known as Grassy. Huge amounts of boaters gather there to party. The water is only 4 feet deep there so everyone is swimming and having a good time. Just like if they were all in a public pool. I dislike this government decision but I understand the why behind it.
  2. I would definitely enjoy getting out in my boat. My son has a new kayak that he would like to get out in. We are leaving both in storage until Covid-19 is dealt with.
  3. Ranger would be around $100,000 I think. Probably more if optioned out. They are nice boats.
  4. Thanks for sharing gordy28 I have great memories of fishing Lake Kipawa when I was much younger. Thought about going back.Inquiring I was told the owner of the fishing lodge had died and so I decided not to go.
  5. Both movies are good. At least to me they are.
  6. Just starting my second week of isolation. I live a half block from one of the main streets through this city. Traffic on this street is minimal. I'm glad to see that people are taking Covid-19 seriously here. I think there are 4 confirmed cases in Chatham-Kent so far.
  7. RV starring Robin Williams A Million Ways To Die In The West starring Charlize Theron I watched them on Netflix
  8. I also upgraded the steering from the clothesline to a cable system. I replaced the Lowrance X91 fishfinder with a Raymarine Dragonfly 7 Pro. Since it is a slightly older boat I installed dual bilge pumps thinking it might have leaking rivets. Found out it does not have any leaks. AceCraft boats were made for Ace Hardware. It looks like a Starcraft hull. It handles Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, Charleston Lake and the St. Clair River perfectly.
  9. I am doing this draw. They send a daily email reminder. I do not get any emails from any other sources. They do announce the winners. They also have posted interviews with some of the winners. You do have to log in to be entered. They have had draws for 9.9 Mercury motors and a Chart Plotter previously.
  10. I have one but don't use it a lot. I trust my Raymarine to show me fish and structure. I use it when the fish are off bite and I am bored.
  11. I agree completely with grimsbylander. I am employed by a major auto restoration company. Quality and productivity are the reasons for our continued success.
  12. I have rented the same cottage for many years. I sent my deposit again last month. I called and told them that if restrictions were still in place and I could not be there to keep my deposit. They are great people who are more like family now.
