  1. My dog looks almost identical, I think mines has some Jack Russel in her to though.
  2. The lake has finaly started to ice up. We have had some cold days over the last couple weeks but the wind has kept most of the lake open. Callander bay is almost frozen over so is the South shore area. If all goes according to plan I won't have to use my kayak on the 1st!!
  3. Did you see any kind of playground??
  4. somebody has to know something about this place....what about you Temagami folk??
  5. I caught a lake trout last week that had a 6" yellow plastic worm in its stomache, still fully intact.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on this place? Me and the family are thinking of bringing our trailer up there for a week. It says they have serviced sites, and a playground for the kids. Their website isn't really that helpful, any info would be fantastic.
  7. I'm trying to find some blades for my auger, but I am having some touble. They are the Twin Lazer Lite blades. I think I can get them from Strikemaster, but I would prefer to pick them up myself. I will be in Toronto in the next couple of weeks if anyone knows of some down there. Thanks Mike
  8. I'm not sure who's explorer this is but I saw it in a few days ago......
  9. Hey....there is reason why I left futureshop!!!
  10. it was almost -40 here in North Bay this morning, and its going to be pretty cold the the few days as well.
  11. I sold these at Future Shop when I worked there a few years ago. Like Terry said, if it puts out the same voltage it should be fine. If you look around on your phone charger it should give you an output. Just match it up with the Garmin charger. If it does not match, I would pick up the proper one.
  12. www.charternet.com....great place to look for some saltwater charters
  13. I'm heading out this afternoon, hope my luck's as good as yours!!
  14. My shack is along the South Shore. We have been catching lots of perch but not many eyes'
  15. Lots of ice....I was out yesterday and there is 14" over on the south shore.
  16. They say it weighs 135, plus once you get gear in it I'm sure its closer to 200lbs. Also once you get into more than a couple inches of snow it makes it even harder to pull. I purchased the hitch for it and pull it with my snowmobile.
  17. I have a Fish Trap Voyager. It fishes well but is a little on the heavy side, eventhough it does have a sleigh bottom.
  18. charternet.com is a great place to search for a slatwater charter. Sailfish should be heating up in the gulf stream and there should be some decent Kingfish as well. If your looking for inshore fishing, Jack Cravelle and various groupers and snapers can always be found. I wouldn't count on any snook or tarpon, they are more of a summer species.
  19. Congratulations...hope everyone is doing well.
  20. we moved the shack a little shollower into 27' feet...we'll see how things go tomorrow
  21. I havn't been on in quite some time, so first off I'd like to say hi to everyone. Hope ya'll had a nice break over the holidays. Nipissing has close to 12" in most areas. My shack is near deepwater point and I measured 10" on the first and we are expecting pretty cold weather over the next little while. I saw a few vehicles on the ice, and the waltontian in is running their bomardier. I was out for only a few hours but we managed a good bunch of perch, all caught on a live shiner. I plan on going out again on sunday so I will post another report sunday night. Again, I hope everyone is well. Mike
  22. I'm heading out to my girlfriends cottage on Parry Sound tomorrow. I've done some fishing out there but havn't had a ton of luck. Some small trout and bass are all I seem to find. Is there anyone who could help me find some walleye? It would be much appreciated. Mike
  23. As the year goes on the fish tend to go deeper. Look for breaks in 20'-30', sometimes even deeper. With the crazy weather we have had this summer, its hard to say what they will be doing until the fall is actually here. Hope that helps a bit.
