  1. I've spent quite a bit of time around the rabbit lake area. I 'm not sure about Alice lake, but I know most of the small lakes around there have good size pike in them, some also have walleye.
  2. welcome....Love the perch pic.
  3. Not the best picture, we were going kinda fast. On the way home from Sudbury
  4. I watched the show, it was pretty cool to see the fish so up close in thier natural environment. I am a billfish fanatic so I found it pretty interesting. Thanks for letting us know it was on Mike
  5. Lake trout was the targeted fish, and the bass was returened to the water very quickly and swam away very strong.
  6. If the mods want to take it down thats fine, I have no problem with it.
  7. My dad and I went out to Lake of Bays today, weather was a little cool and windy but we still had fun. We were fishing of a small island near Dwight when I got a huge hit. I got all excited as I brought in the fish, and much to my surprise my first fish of the year was a monster OOS smallmouth. After a quick picture back into the water it went. We cruised around the lake for a bit trying to find some lake trout, I marked some fish but no takers. Finaly my dad got one in 6ft of water!! Only two fish but we still had a good time. Mike
  8. wow...thats pretty close. I'm watching the Nationwide race right now.
  9. I'm going to be off the lake just in time to catch the second half of the race. How close to Talladega do you live??
  10. I was so pumped when the shark hit, we thought it was a marlin at first by the way it ran. But soon enough we found out what it really was. Towards the end I was getting really tired. I have a friend who has a place down near Hawks Nest. He has a deal worked out with them that he can use the facilities when he comes down. Oh I almost forgot....GO BRONCOS!!!
  11. Of all the lines it had to hit, it had to be the lightest....when it was all said and done it took close to 3 hours.

  13. I make mine with straight lean ground beef, an egg, a little bit of bread crumbs, onion and garlic powder and some pepper. Man, I'm hungry now.
  14. my hub assembely was also just shy of $300 plus labour
  15. what kind of vehicle is it? I would get it fixed as soon as you can, I know on my explorer it is the whole hub assembly that had to be changed. I was pulling into the parking lot of my mechanic and the damn wheel fell right off and smoke was pouring out of the wheel well.
  16. I have been using Strike King baits for a long time. They are a little more expensive but I find they are worth it. Booyah's aren't quite as expensive and are also pretty good. If you can get something on sale, regardless of brand I would buy it.
  17. I've been having them a lot lately. Can't wait to get out!!!
  18. Yeah I know...I've caught almost every other fish that swims in Ontario except crappie. Thought it might be cool to catch some.
  19. What is the closest lake to North Bay that has crappie in it? Is there anything within a 2 hour drive. Thanks Mike
  20. Saltwater fishing for me....especially trolling, you never know what you are going to get.
  21. Anytime I am outside and my tattoo is showing it gets a bath of 50 spf. It really helps keep the colour.
