Same... I wish I could have joined you fine sir.
-
PM me if you want his (the DRPS) name to follow up with. His and my chat started openly on FB on a fishing group for the area.

I'm off on a "staycation" this week and would love to go but I cannot sadly...
-
I think Pro J even has a no tax sale going on or did. It was an "after the show sale" as they like to go to all the fishing shows.

I spoke with a Durham Police officer about 2 weeks ago and he's an angler too. He said they have more being trained by the MNR to be on the rivers more for this years trout opener. He has been trained along with another 12 or so and they go out and watch in their street clothing, not the uniform. So YEAH the cop's are being trained and are going to be out on all the pressured rivers.
-
But for MNR to have less bodies there going after the poachers during peak run's...

I am all behind the OFAH on this one as I'm not going to pay $x to fish here and $y to fish here ON TOP of my 3 year sport lic. costs.
-
For me it's a far and costly drive to take a chance at showing up to be sent home
-
I would like to thank Mother Nature for screwing over my vacation plans to fish this weekend and week...

The hut rental place I was going to use on Sun pulled all the hut off today too. Bear Point in Innisfil is done for the season

Yes, the only 1080p provider in Canada. Also the SD channels still work in bad storms while the HD might fail. They all have a loyalty team to keep you when you call to cancel

A Sat range finder is about $40 for a basic one at The Source and it helps you lock in on the signal during set up. My father has one for his 5th wheel camper and Sat TV dish on a tripod. There are no installers for Bell or Shaw in Nunavut yet both companies still have customers there. I joke when I get a call from there, "so I cannot sell you Non-of-it as there is not tech's" to help BUT I do tell all callers how to go about getting some form of TV from either company.

I'm still up in the air myself for this Sun from a hut operator in Innisfil. Anyone in the area please PM me if I should bail or go, thanks. G *edit to add*: after all it's a 2 hr drive for me and one person I'm carpooling with if we go is coming from Kingston... Don't want to waste her time and gas if we get there to turn back and then leave the hut company out too...

One thing nobody has asked you yet is how are you moving it along on the lake? Quad, sled or by foot? I went with a Clam Bigfoot XL2000 pop up as I walk. Much lighter for me to move in my cargo sled on foot. A cordless drill has the ice anchors in fast and the hut's not going to blow away. If I had a quad or a sled well then I'd be able to use any hut. And yes they all have a different thickness for the warmth. Some are 'thermal' so MUCH warmer than a hut that looks just like it but isn't a thicker thermal material.

He might be in an area with no Shaw installers is why. I have seen that for both Sat companies. However a person and buy the hardware and try for a self install and then have said companies service UNLESS there is a line of sight issue.

How soon do you need to "pull the trigger" on this purchase? Boats always go for top $ at the start of the season but a LOT less at the end as people don't want to pay for storage and so on like winter prep. maint. So with that said, 4 people in a boat you just ruled out most bass boats as all the ones I've been in (some were big too) are 3 seat's and not a ton of fishing/standing room for more than 2 people. Glass boats are heavy (towing) but a nice ride. Tin's are light but some are not so nice in waves/chop at speed. So, ask yourself what is it used for daily (when in use 90% of the time) vs the odd "let's go tube'n" type day. We all have a brand we like and don't so you are going to get mixed reviews there no doubt. Also hull design... Good luck and wait for what you want is the best answer I can say. Don't rush this purchase if you can wait to find YOUR ideal boat at YOUR budget.

Book your mom some "mom time" at Sir Sam's resort. As for the other stuff it's been 15 years or longer since I have been out fishing on that lake.
-
Yeah it is and I know Randyfrom... has one. I know I want one to show my support for those fighting and to those that have passed...

PS: I tell all people to review your services once a year to ensure you are getting the right package for your needs. Changing your stuff around with the provider to fit your needs is a free no admin fee of penalty with my employer even on a 2-year term for your in-home services.

As most of you know I work on the sales team for one. We MUST and ALWAYS have told customers what the regular rate is and what the promo rate is and when it ends. It's also printed on each and every bill so you know what's going to happen. When the CRTC makes changes the providers have to change also and this is where the rates change. The company I work for sends out 60 day and 30 notifications on the bills so you see it coming if there is a rate change. TV, one is 1080p all others are 1080i (lower) Internet, DSL so yes not a shared line vs broadband meaning shared connection HP, copper line vs VOIP (internet based phone) So the 2 companies is question here do NOT stack up the same when you look at from a "get what you pay for" with technology.

Even though we have yet to meet Brian I feel like I know you (and many others here). Some days I have positive stores to share and others not so much. Today I'm at a loss as to what to say here... My (now ex) Father-in-law has been going through treatment for cancer (not bone like you) and yes he is beating it! I have FULL FAITH YOU CAN TOO just based on your attitude alone! Stay strong fine sir! Geoff PS, as for the medical MJ I will pm a friend who's using it for her pain while she's being treated. If she let's me know I'll pm you but I cannot tell you what each type of 'strand' is best for what when it comes to that stuff.

No, we all clean those up, it's the blood spots beside the 'skim over hole' is the key in that area Nick

VERY NICE Mr B! And you are getting SO good at the pan flute for the musical intro too...

I finally got around to watching that and well, that's one walk I sure wouldn't do solo at night. Too bad you didn't find more (or plan to) crab's and get a meal out of them too Next time...
