ok, time to bring this back to life... Os and I are going to hook up for some perch and or crappie but neither of us know the zone 16 area all that well to the North. The ice is out on the lakes I mentioned (well Musselman should be softwater now with all this rain) but there is no place to park there. Any hint's via this post or PM's would be great as I feel the skunk sripe on my back is getting worse! Not looking for any honey holes just a spot he and I can go and each get a fish or 2, thanks all!!!!! Geoff

good courses mark it up the mid. of the fairway. those same good courses mark the sprinkler heads to mid. green. the better ones have GPS and or everything is marked (ie sprinkler head has yds to front/mid/back). so a 340 yard dogleg might only be 280 to the green and that's when you have the green light to grip it and rip it!

My whole family on my wife's side get our own cabins at Halimar Lodge every year and love it, this is year 4. You can fish off the dock or take a canoe out (free). It's in Halibruton. You get your breakfast and dinner inc. with the cost if that's something you are interested in...

welcome to the site. you should go to your local tackle shop and pick up a copy of the reg's so you know what you can fish for and where. Here is the link to the site so you can print it out if the store doesn't have any. MNR site Use a floro leader for sure to answer that one. Do you have small inline spinners? Those work BUT your best bet is to talk to someone at your local tackle shop. Also, not sure if you noticed this but there is a search tab and the top and there is LOT's of posts on set up's for you to check out.
