  3. I never got what he said but even fish out smart me all the time... I know people that swear by light gear and others not so much. Me, I want to LAND IT and C.P.R. and be on my way to the next one. each person legally fishing can decide how they want to fish but it's up to that person to protect the fishery too.
  4. I too am interested now the Nav. has a blackberry app. I can easly d/l it to my tablet but don't want to take it in the boat all day as the kids would turn the Nav. app off and play angry birds all day...

    Gloves

but the key with a baitcaster is your thumb. I too have the fold back mit's/gloves and never use them when using a baitcaster. not enough feel in the thumb with them. any other type of reel, for sure they are good.

    Gloves

auto mechanic gloves work and some come with an exposed finger(s) and thumb. if the thumb isn't open, cut the tip off the one you need to thumb the line with if you don't feel it like you want to. I keep 2 sets of them with me fall fishing incase I need to change a wet glove.
