  2. Was up there the last 2 days with my son. We had to fish from shore as Im waiting for a part for my boat. Had to fish from the swing bridge. It was freakin cold with that north wind. Caught lots of small ones and no tagged perch. Have some entries in for that nice new Lund!!! Congrats Shawn on the tagged perch. Scooter
  3. Great job guy's. I grew up in Hanover and can remember the ontario steelheaders doing the same thing 25 years ago.
  4. Check out Tama Kwa Resort. I've been going there for years. If the lake is calm you fish the big water. If the lake is rough your close to Callander Bay and fish the islands. Scooter
  5. Nice fish. That last one is a beauty!! Scooter
  6. Honda all the way. Its amazing how much snow the can throw. The tracks are nice if you need to get up onto your deck. scooter

  10. So do you go out to the main part of the lake or do you stay in the bay.I mostly fish the bay. Kinda of scared with all those rock soals popping up everywhere. Thanks Scooter
  11. I have to agree with you on that, 4 days of fishing isn't enough. I was worried that the fishery may be in trouble and this is my favorite place to fish.Hopefully the wheather get's turned around I'm back up there with my family the first week in July. Thanks Scooter
  12. Just back from our annual trip with my brothers. I got this beauty on a nippising jig in between the islands in callander bay.It weighed 7lbs and was 27" long.Fishing wasn't nearly as good as other years. We caught a bunch of 8 to 10 inchers, had a hard time getting keepers. We have been going to nippising for over 10 years and haven't had this type of fishing. What do you think is causing this? Thanks Scooter
  13. That's a beauty fish, cudos for putting her back! Great job. Scooter
  14. Nice fish!!! Were you trolling or casting? I was up at Dalrymple yesterday and your pike could eat the ones I caught! Scooter
  15. I am going to try for whitefish for the first time and would appreciate a little help. I am going to be launching at Innisfill beach park. How long will it take to get to Willow Beach? Do I go in between Fox and Snake or is there a better way. What depth? do you start shallow and work your way deeper. Any info would be great, like I said this is the first time for me out there. I have a 16ft crestliner with a 50hp merc. I should be okay as long as the wind isn't too bad right!! Thanks Scooter
  16. Your right on the money there Dara. lol Scooter
  17. I work at Honda and it's not looking good. We have a meeting later in the week to discuss the future. We will be effected and non production days are a given, it's the how long is the biggest question that we are all worried about. Hope this helps. Scooter
  18. Bass Pro sell's pre tied rigs 48" of flourocarbon. All you have to do is add your beads and your blade with the cleavis and your set. They have a good assortment of beads and blades. Scooter
  19. Hope you don't mind Dara ,but I copied you. Mine don't look as nice as yours though Scooter
  20. That's a awsome catch fellas. What do you use for bait?? I assume you need small hooks and light line. Scooter
  21. I had 2 large herniated disc's in my back. Struggled for years went back and forth between chiro and physio. Was finaly going to get the surgery when someone sugessted LASER treatment. I went to LASER ON therapy 3 years ago and haven't been back to a chiro or physio since.I went for about 12 treatments. My back gets sore from time to time but a little rest and good as new the next day. Scooter
  22. Take the main street into Callander. Turn left at the Tavern and Royal Bank and the launch is at the end of the road. There is no where to tie off, so I hope you have someone with you!! Pike are a little harder to find in Callander the west arm is better. You can try the tall cat tails on your right as you leave the launch. Or you could try wasi falls, just look for the water falls across the bay on your left from the launch. Hope this helps Scooter
  23. I would appreciate that Speil. Where can I get the material to replace the handle. I not sure if I qualify for a handyman but I'll give it a try!!! Thanks Scooter
  24. I was given some old downrigging rods, but the foam on the handles is all ripped apart. Is there any way of replacing the grips. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Scooter
  25. I like your way of thinking Randy Scooter
