I'm sure this post is to late, but just incase... IF anyone was to be meeting Chuck today for icefishing, he won't be making it... We had to call an ambulance at 1:30 this morning for he was yelling in pain... He was taken to YVH still don't know what the problem is, but will post again later... Lady...

Hey Irishfield. I felt your stress last night too. Our son had called and he was stuck in some gas station between Angus and Blue, headed for snowboarding. He said all the roads were closed and they had to wait for the storm to pass before they could move. Glad to hear your family is safe at home. Our son and his friends are home safe now too

At least you got out and got to fish.... Good on you. We went out, it was snowing, but it didn't seem that bad from shore.. we got going out, once past the huts, We couldn't see anything... I was getting scared and asked Chuck to stop and check the gps... He said we were further way then the last time we stopped, he had no idea where we were. even with the gps... so we turned around and followed the tracks back... We did get to help a couple, in a mini van, get back to shore... Glad to see u had a good day out... Safe Fishing First... Lady...

Well DouG.. since thats the Saturday before my B-day... I just may have to make it...

With being able to use the 4 wheelers out on the lake now, Bigchev n I got out a little closer to fox island yesterday. It was slow but the fish were around. I got one hit, then a whitie iced. A while later, while bigchev decides to have a had full of peanuts, he gets a fish on, but with hands full, he tossed the peanuts in his mouth, but by then, he lost the fish... lol He then tries to curse an swear with a mouth full.... I was laughing so hard... The winds out there were unbearable, I don't know how the dye hards stay out in it as long as they do... A great day out for us having the fish hut for shelter and warmth... Back out today... good luck to those going out, the winds are suppost to be bad again.. Safe fishing First...
