Ya I was there tooo.. sorry.... I cant spell, and had to look it up. I was snowshoeing the day before yesterday and took notice of way more bunny (hare) tracks than normal.. if i had to guess I say on the upswing up here... mayhaps, Ill get Avery to go snare a couple for the BBQ.... thanks for the good idea'er

I don't understand that comment... Karl and crew have been more than generous with prizes, supporting the Tyler cause, great prints every year, and asking very little in return... except for a little publicity and the opportunity to announce things.. I understand if ya have some comments to back up the statement, like "I don't like this about the show" .. "or I don't like that".. which actually helps those folks put on a better show.. but a blanket statement like that. i dunno. rubs me the wrong way. I know for a FACT that Karl is pretty thick skinned and if you had a specific complaint about the show.. he would enjoy the critisism and take it for what is worth.. (the same way people criticize the way WE do things around here) I spend an awful lot of time trying to attract higher profile guys to the board so we can get some good contests and prizes going, and whether you like the show or not... some do.. some don't.. statements like that definatley offend me as well, and are unproductive.

I'd say.. "keep the sled" and add a few adjectives.... maybe they will get the idea. They will never get their money back out of the machine... and maybe willing to at least renegotiate. I certainly would never ever bring anything else there... oh ya... one last thing I've learned the hard way a few times .. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER BUY OR SELL ANYTHING TO A FRIEND...

Hmm OK.. Ill start a discussion with the mods.. ... heres a question for you... how do we decide whats a "best of"??? How do I answer the PMs that say... "well you made so and so's post a best of why not mine???" Any criterea we should use... cause if its just up to the mods, we would get nothing but grief...

I don't think anyone looked at the link.. Its a good idea as far as im concerned, at least part of it. An "In Memory of.." section is in the works.. As for the posts for thoughts and prayers, I will, as long as Im here, try my dambdest to keep as much in the general discussion forum as humanly possible.. I've carped and moaned (ask the other mods) about every subsection there is.. lol.. If it was all up to me, and I didnt listen to anyone, (I value everyones input) there would only be ONE forum. But thats my opinion. I do now that if we split the board into fishing and off topic posts, it would completely change the character of the community. It is amazing that we have been here long enough to have a "Retired Fishermen" section...
