Yeah the garden...im sure some of the Sault boys can tell stories about that place...ive just heard and only seen it on the calm side of things

Yup...mich as in Michipicoten...just easier to refer it as that. A little part of the world where right now is as amazing as anywhere with the colours in the leaves, crystal clear water and absolute tranquility (sp)

that is very understandable...my grandfather felt the same way about his woodworking...wouldnt sell it...would give it away to people that he wanted to have them

I dont know about that....when it comes to that act...i havent seen that around my area in a very long time...people here seem to get it about the salmon fishery...mind you we have an ever pressence of CO's enforcing it, and its not being being naive or blind...i honestly havent seen people attempting, or even snagging salmon around here come the fall months when they run. It could be because we move to hunting, or back to walleye....however when it comes to moose, this area has a very poor reputation Just my .02 Anders

The month of September was a great one. Relaxing, tons of fishing, a little hunting and quality time with some of the people that mean the most. It all started with a nice little salmon before September to get the ball rolling.. Then September can and i got to get out again on my birthday, but my brother was the one that got lucky that night We also got luck and hit some Lake Superior eyes and a Northern from the same hole....completly stunned and shocked by the results. We were expecting coho's or even rainbow, but when we hit these...we were in bliss 19 and 21 inch eyes 10-12lb Pike We spent some time at our favourite places....did a little relaxing and site seeing Then back to the mighty Mich, where, its not looking very mighty lately, but the wildlife is returning for the annual salmon run. Got some pics of on osprey and a baldy fishing. Gus getting ready to run after the bald eagle...who wasnt phased by his presence Then it was back to our favourite spot were the fishing was picking up...here my greatest catch was fighting one, but soon got off Some random shots The last night in the rain a little more fishing to cap the month off with a lake superior chinny...man i really hate battling the crowds, parking, and traffic. Cant wait till October now..walleye, pike, grouse, and hopefully a moose....bring it on...im relaxed and ready

Although it is too long to watch at work right now...i will be! Thanks for posting this. I love salmon and everything to do with them, especially their migration and the impact they have on the ecosystem. Truly one of the worlds most incrediable and magnificant journies and story! Thanks

Seems like it can snowball out of control to me!

Not a fan of the flames, but a fan of Theo's...all heart...would have been nice to see him crack the lineup, seeing as he has been one of the better flames this pre-season. Would have made a great story! Think he should have made the team.

Some people may do it differently, but we hook throught the sucker of the leech first, then again 1/4 down the body to let the rest of the leach move freely...this way the leech is hooked twice, moves nice in the water, and is a lot tougher to get pulled off the hook

Agreed in the summer months, thats what we use...leave the minnows alone. We put them on jigs, spinners, and even use them on worm harnesses. A little tip using leeches...if you put them on your lure and they come up wraped in a tight ball...the water is too cold...change your bait to artificial, minnows, or worms...if you bring the leech up and they are stretched like they have been swimming...get ready...you will have a fish on soon.

Just send Chuck Norris up there to gaurd the ladder....nuff said Better the kids doing that than ending up like this

Exactly what i was thinking....with weight in the bow, you will find it night and day, easier to troll by yourself. Have patience...its quite relaxing when your all alone.

How many other species other than pike and salmon have an open season during their spawning season in Ontario????? Walleye...nope, Bass...nope...Muskie...yeah right.....Lakers and Brookie...never in a million years.... If the MNR would end the season on a particular date, it might end the whole commotion.

Wind Blown shorelines!! If your new at a lake and its windy....never pass up a wind blown shoreline. Throw cranks into shore, back or front troll spinners or worm harnessess behind bottom bouncers.
