  1. And eat all his home-made maple syrup.
  2. You can thank us Americans any time you want. We call it pay-back for the artic blasts you folks send down here each winter. Hope you're all enjoyin' it.
  3. What I saw on Wolseley's Facebook page, it sounds like they must have a fire ban in place down there. Not sure if it right now - or a little earlier in the year. Hope we'll be able to have a few evening camp-fires and some truthful story tellin'
  4. Randy: I'll be pulling in sometime mid/late afternoon this Saturday - staying until the following Saturday. I believe Art and Joe will be arriving sometime on Tuesday.
  5. Now that would fill up anyone's pants.
  6. I think the 10,000 casts is for the larger ones (yes - I'm still casting for the 50 and I would think I am well over that 10,000 mark. At least, near the end of a single week, it sure feels like it. None the less - congrats. I lovbe to catch them - no matter the size.
  7. That would be a trip I'd like to take sometime. LOVE the French River and never been anywhere near down towards the end. Beautiful from the various pics I've seen. Thanks for taking the time to share.
  8. Me thinks I'll have a couple day's head start on ya - but I guess it really only takes that one cast. Looking forward to seeing everyone after a couple years now. Ya'll have a safe trip.
  9. Alright ... I'll stop by and say hello on the way to my boat - just have the coffee on will ya
  10. Nice. Not sure what I would do if I saw that many in such a short time frame and location. Glad to see you were able to land a couple of them.
  11. Oh man, that do be a great day. Nice job guys.
  12. Sweet - congrats in a couple beauties
  13. Nice mixed bag you were able to pick up. Used to use those Williams for Pike up on the Rideau. On one of our trips, that seemed to be the hot bait.
  14. I'll be in said Prospector tent in a couple weeks. Gonna give it a try as well. Can't help with the Walleye's, as I don't fish for them - but quite a few people do up there.
  15. Excellent day on water you never fished before. Congrats to you both
  16. Typically 18" for casting and 24" for trolling. This for the sharp toothy fishes
  17. Always a nice get-away and fresh fish for dinner. Sweet
  18. Awesome report and some great looking catches too. Glad to see ya got one thing checked off your bucket list
  19. At least the walters came out to play. You (and your son) will cherish the time together, even if you had to modify your tactics. Good on you for doing this. Good luck in August and September. This September, I am bypassing Wolseley and spending the two weeks down the road at Rainbow. I seem to have better luck there over the past couple years with Muusky. All the years at Wolseley, I have set to actually land one. By the way - how were the water levels ? One pic I saw a while back, the level was up pretty good there at Wolseley.
  20. One of these trips - I'm gonna get me one of those 50's
  21. Hey Lew, sorry we missed you folks this year. Glad to see you had some action. The temps were heating up when we left and figured you'd be in for some hot days. That 39 I got, may have been the that followed me in about an hour or so before - in the same general area. I hope they're still hungry in a few weeks. Going up myself this time. Gotta learn how to take a self pic - just in case. :-)
  22. Sweet ..... Great trip
  23. Drop a PM to Joey or Tybo. They purchased their Lund from some place in Michigan I believe. They even drove it to the US/Canada border for them. I'm sure others have done this as well.
  24. Can't complain about a 47" er. Congrats to ya. Now ... go get a BIGGER one.
