i own a dodge ram 1500 slt sport..20 inch rims..yes the truck is not great on gas..but none of the full size trucks are...i hit a deer last week with my truck and i have a rental truck ..its a sierra..the sierra is alot newer then my truck and drives nice..it burns the same amount of gas and one thing i know it does not have the horsepower of my ram..its a bit sluggish compared to my ram...plus i think that the ram looks way better then the sierra...the sierra still looks square like the trucks my dad drove in the 80s...also go new for the same price..this way you can break the truck in properly...i have never driven a ford, but i have driven many gm's...and this is the first dodge i have ever owned and i can tell you one thing..my ram has 220 000 kms and all i,ve had to replace was the belt, the brakes and the tires..so far so good....the gm's i've had always gave me problems.....and last but not least..all these trucks will be crap if you drive the crap out of them..if you take proper care of them... then you will get a great truck in return... hope this helped

nice report....lakers this year on the main lake were a bit funny..i caught most of my lakers this year on a still line..i had a spoon with a minnow and i did not jig it...just lifted it every so often to check if fish was on...this out produced all my buddies this year and happens every so often on temagami.... i dont know why but it does... but not all years...

hey wayne..ive downrigged sharp rock inlet in the spring....awsome fishing in there...lakers hit nicely...watch out for the seagulls nests..those buggers dive down at ya like no tomorrow...one island in the center of sharp rock inlet and its always full of seagulls nesting..we had some real fun there with some of the guys... we would send them near the seagulls and tell them that it was a great spot to fish, then we would watch them get swarmed by the seagulls..lol

excelent report wayne...looks like you guys had a blast...and what can i say .. you guys are a bunch of troopers in that snow... wish i was there with yah ...maybe next time...looks like i would have to get me a pair of pink gloves if i come up with you guys, your all a bunch of fish slayers... well maybe not terry..lol

ok guys here is another try at this.....temagami weather was awsome...ice road was a bit rough..i only have some of the pictures for now and will have more as soon as my buddies send me more of the pictures...fishing was tough but we found them..we also did some spec fishing as you can see..this is one days catch...a great time was had by all and i cant wait to get back there may 31st for some spring fishing...you never know...i might just slip away for one more weekend if anyone is going up and has some room for me...we filmed a fox who looked to be hungry take a look at the video....i would like to thank glen (GCD ) for helping me post this report.... us driving in with gear me and the boys some fish a little fox action
