you do make some good points randy.... but with a sled you never have to worry about ice conditions its made for it snow or no snow...

We are known in the industry to be 1 of the best at what we do... Most of our work is done in the city of toronto and outskirts...We also install marble and granite slabs interior and exterior..we can put a 400 pound piece of granite above your head in the shower if you would like..yes we have done this before....We show up on time, our guys are not animals, were clean, we take away all our garbage and best of all our tile setters are hourly..not union and not piece workers...We are actually busy at the moment which is a good thing and hope to stay that way..so go ahead give your job or company a plug...cant hurt

sled..100% pulled a quad out of lake simcoe last weekend..snow was to high quad went nowhere,, guy was kinda embaressed that he was stuck..tied a rope to my SNOWMOBILE he stepped on the gas and pulled him back to shore...not the shore he entered just the closest one.. he then peoceeded to drive back on the road back to his car and home...sleds can cross water if your sled is fast enough... i have a quad and its used for the bush most of the year but when it comes to snow...anytime any place mr.quad... ill get there faster and easier...

for sure TMH we will both see it for the first time... i cant wait to install it on the boat....

this is true but will have update by end of feb acording to lowrance rep... i was told that the chips were not excepted before i bought the unit....i have the hds-7 and the screen is actually smaller then the lcx-27 by half an inch..but you cant compare the two..the hds is 100 times better visual quality and tons more options... i dont mind waiting for the updates my boat wont be in the water until may so i have lots of time.....also you can download updates into your unit in less than a min with your usb right into the back of the unit..you dont even have to take it off the boat if you have one of those usb sticks... and dont forget with these units everytime there is new downloads through the years you can get them ...that makes this unit compatible and a greater value and it also meens this unit will not become obsolite...my other lowrance unit is the same way i bought it..no downloads available for it so it never got better it just stayed the same....

on simcoe no bait needed...i have never used bait on simcoe and have always caught fish... but lake temagami.. i always use bait on my lures...so use bait on some lakes and dont on others...i think it the lake you fish will determin if you should tip your bait or not...

i have the insight maps and i think they said $30.00 for sirius per month...it s an awsome unit although they all need an upgrade comming soon by lowrance via internet...

ill be out on simcoe tommorow looking for the whities and the lakers...who s going?

hey guys i just bought one at bass pro this week.. i got the hds-7 and it looks awsome..my warehouse is just around the corner from them and i pop in every other day or so...they were setting one of the hds-7 up and i waited till it had power...checked it out and bought one on the spot...they had 3 of them at the time...the hds-5 were on back order..i paid $1100.00 + tax and she was mine... cant wait to hook it up to the boat...

i would like to start with the words cash is king.. from what ive been hearing and seeing this market is totaly screwed..banks all over the world are on the verge of collapse and all the money governments throw at this mess is not working...we have to look at the big picture here..without the usa the world is in deep caca...lets take china with a 1.1 billion population they dont consume 1 tenth of what the usa cunsumes and the usa only has 350 million....9 out of 10 cars produced in canada go to the usa market..banks in london , scotland, italy and not to mention other banks in europe are all in deep caca....most banks are not telling the full story.....did some work for a president of one the big three banks in canada... wont mention his name or bank, but he told me something kinda scary.. he said only 2 banks in canada are solid at this point, royal bank and TD... he said the other banks including BMO are in bad shape and are still not sure how bad of shape yet..... in saying this , we cant be scared we must keep moving, me myself im in a service industry and i know that the rug could be pulled right from under me, but for now i just keep plugging away and im trying to contribute to society as much as i can...i went out a bought me a new lowrance fish finder for my boat the hds-7 knowing fully that $1200.00 could come in handy in the future. but i wanted it now and due to the fact i had some cash i bought it...which brings me back to you..take the money put it on the mortgage or somewere safe and wait...these are the times for those who have the cash to actually become rich ...very rich if in the right spot at the right time comes along...and when it does you'll have the money to do it with.... cash is king
