  3. You can get the delco voyager through a GM dealership or you could any ways.
  4. Been mowing grass here the last 2 weeks. Had easter lillies blooming a month ago, hope it's not a sign of a long hot and dry summer.
  5. Very cool Wish I was there.
  6. Yep it just runs the well pump , ok thx so much time to bury a line I guess.
  7. I've got a 220 volt line running to my well house, can I tap in to that for a 110 volt line to run to a dusk to dawn light? thx.
  8. Went down 22 cents a gallon here the last two days in Ohio.
  9. Well I took the old boat out today and it didn't leak a drop. Thx to all that helped out. The boat is 41 years old and not one rivet leaks amazes me but then again I'm easily amazed.

  11. A buddy of mine has a 16 footer with a 40 hp on it, he's had it about 10 or 12 years I think, he never had an issue with it.
  12. Ok got the patch on this morning, I'll let it bake in the sun for a couple days, I'll take it out on the river next week and see if I end up on the bottom. Thx to all.
  13. ok thx all I.ve found some rivets. Do I need to rough up or sand the paint off the metal before applying the sika? I can't see where is says to on the tube.
  14. I'm still checking, the stainless steel doesn't react with the aluminum?
  15. Thx drifter but I live in Ohio and that would probably be costly let me do some more checking thx so much.
  16. Can I seal the rivets with the sika? thxs again
  17. I've got the jb weld cleaned up and the metal formed the only rivets I can find are regular ones, I assume I can seal them off when I'm through? No one in the area has the solid rivets.
  18. Ok got some thinner aluminum might have to double it up and some sika gray and quarter inch rivets . Gonna try and scrape off the jb weld and start forming the metal.
  19. Ok thx but the area that needs patching is rounded and raised up off the main hull so a rigid patch won't work. It';s not a tracker its a beater.
  20. Ok I know this has been covered before, I've got a small crack on a rib( If thats what you call it)that runs the length of the boat on the out side of the hull on the bottom several years ago I jb welded it and it lasted several years but it's leaking again. I was going to grind off the jb weld and want to patch it but not sure how too. The rib is rounded and would need some thing flexible to mold around it i've seen some things about patching with fiber glass. I know the proper thing to do would probably be to pull the floor and foam and weld it but the crack is only about half too 3 quarters of an inch long and hasn't gotten any bigger. The jon boat is 40 years old so I'm not worried about the looks. Any ideas thx.
  21. Nice pics. That second pic it looked like he was standing on a car untill I enlarged it.
  22. I've got a 94 25 merc on my 16ft. john boat it's been a really good motor I bought it new,it trolls down to 1 mph and top speed is about 23 on the gps with two people.
  23. My group always went to gull lake the 1st week in june. It's been 4 years since I've been up there and the last few years we were there the fishing has gone down hill quite a bit. Dad started taking us there in the early 60s so I remember the really good fishing though I was to young to really do alot of it. We always stayed at bayview cxabins on the shallow end, but I've stayed at cuddy's and glen haven cottages also.I know that lake well and love to fish it but the numbers and size just aren't there any more unless something has changed.
  24. Ok Might be a few days before I can get into it, thx to all.
  25. Yea its a tiller but the arm isn't on it but I have it I haven't paid him anything yet .I told him if I got it started I would and he's ok with that, its on the basement floor so I really haven't started on it just messed with it a little. It's a 2 cycle long shaft. It shifts into forward and neutral ok and I was on line checking the serial number and I think it's a 79.
