ok looked to me as if the pump over heated the insert looked kinda melted and disfigured not positive. It's a mayfair pump so I'm going to have to order one I think, so I took the strainer and hose off and stuck a 3 1/4 inch bolt in the hole with big washers and big rubber washers on top of them bolted tight gonna take it out tonight and see what happens thx again.
I was out for a bit tonight and I noticed water coming in the boat. Ran back to the ramp and trailered it. When I pulled it out waterr was draining out of the water pickup for the live well and when I pulled the drain plug of course water poured out of the hole as well as the water pickup or what ever its called the thing with the stainer on the bottom of the transom. Anyone got an ideas what may be leaking? never saw water coming out of the water pickup before. Thx.
no access panel that I see It's a 2004 tracker targa, Ialready checked the fuse they all look good . When I hit the switch I don't hear anything running.
the pump on my brothers targa doesn't run,I think the switch on the dash is ok at least its lighting up.I really haven't got into it yet, looks like I'll have to pull up the whole back deck to get to it. Other than time is this a fairly simple job.
I'm assuming 5 gallon buckets tied with heavy rope on the handles and 5 or 6 feet of rope in the water. This came up a while back but I never thought to ask bucket size.
THX kerry never thought about tieing them off the front lol. I've got a trolling plate works good in the lakes but I fish the river alot and if there's any current at all you really have to rev the engine up to move.
I use the delco series 27s have for a lot of years I usually get 5 or 6 years out of them. I go to the local chevy dealer and get mine I think I paid 75 or 80 $ for the last one it's been 2 or 3 years ago.
I know they don't reproduce, and I think some if not all will go on spawn but do the females develop eggs. We were talking about it at work and nobody knew for sure.
I know how it feels to lose your pension, happened to me 5 years ago. 22 years I put in there. It's a hard pill to swallow for sure but ya gotta keep goin. Hope it doesnt happen for you guys that work there. Their closing aluminum plants down here on the Ohio river.
I really didnt want to use 30lb mono especialy in cold weather.Their not a very expensive reel so I'll try power pro and see, and a 2.8 to 1 gear ratio I'm not gonna try using any buzz baits. thx again.
