Decent Largemouth fishing in Jordan Harbour. Launch your tinny at Bailey bridge in the valley below Jordan village. Fish around the train trestle with Flippin jigs and spinnerbaits, also try hitting the stumps that have been marked north of the trestle. There are some chunky Bass in there!
First of all, you're getting way to much info here, there are different winterizing techniques for 2 strokes and 4 strokes. Then theres carbs or fuel injection...What type of engine are you getting?
In early summer target the shoals for Pike, now that the water is warm I imagine they're deep, try some trolling on breaklines and around structure adjacent to deep water.
Ah jeez Lew...I've been wonderin' where you were...I'm so sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you. I have an older Brother by 14 years thats my favorite fishing pardner and best friend, so I can imagine how hard this must be.
I've heard there's big Pike in there...It has access via a portage/atv trail to Miner Lake which is really just a wide spot on the Magnetewan River. I've done well for Smallies on Miner. Pickerel and Pike in there as well. If you like Canoeing its heaven.
I have a 2000 Lund Sendero 1650, Adventure series. It has a Sahara 500gph auto pump with a 7/8" hose. Its not the original pump though. Like Daplumma said its really dictated by the outlet on the pump and hull fitting.
I'm not sure how i'd vote on this...I do think if you don't contribute positively to a forum you don't nessasarily deserve to reap the benefits...This is a great forum because of the wide varity of people using it. Muskies Canada recently got its forum up and running, members of MCI only, and its so far a nice small group so sharing info is alot more appealing.
I was going to recomend a paddling style PFD as well. Trailhead,Europe Bound and Mountain Equipment Co-op in TO are good places to find one. Outback Adventure in Hamilton, Adventure Guide in K-W, Outdoors Oriented in St. Catharines.
