  1. Brian? Is that you? Mom and Dad said you were out there somewhere!
  2. Nice fish, great release shots!
  3. Thats a nice Tiger. I echo your thoughts on the Pike presence...
  4. I tow a 16 foot Lund w/ 90 4 stroke, boat, motor and trailer are under 2000 lbs barely. I have been driving a 05 Nissan Xterra since winter 05/06 and its been a great tow vehicle. 265 hp V6 4.0L, tough on gas IF you drive it hard, but not to bad if you take it easy. 80 L tank I can tow about 450 KMs on the hwy, maybe 600 not towing. The Xterra is one of the few SUVs thats not a glorified station wagon. Full frame, solid rear axle. 170,000 Kms and still drives like new, 4 wheel dics brakes are nice for stopping too! The only thing that might keep me from buying another one is I miss having a pick-up.
  5. Know one recomended a good Telescopic rod???
  6. Get a Shimano Compre or St.Croix Premier, 8',MHF, 1 1/2-3 oz. Abu Garcia C3 6600
  7. I'd be willing to share all the knowledge I gained from fishing there the past 6 years... BUT, do you have the proper release gear???
  8. Started Flipping again after years of not doing it...Man I forgot how much I enjoy it! Picked up a St.Croix Mojo Bass Flippin rod last year, can't say enough good things about it! Anyway, went out this morning for a few hours in my local Bass haunt...Put 2 nice Largie's in the boat, both came out from under sunken logs, classic spots in this water body... First one was about 3 lbs. Second one went on the scales...4.43 lbs.
  9. Took a buddy from work out Friday, and my Nephews on Saturday...Picked away at a few fish.
  10. Don't be afraid to cast out over deep water! If there's bait, there's Muskies... By deep I mean even as much as 80 feet or more!
  11. Wow, great day! Looks like you kept most of them too!
  12. You can check out www.spoonpullers.com, the ForSale page has riggers on it regularly.
  13. Can you flip the reciever? Meaning put the ball on the other side so it drops in height...
  14. Minden Bait and Tackle is still there. There are Smallmouth and Rainbows in the Whitewater section of the Gull River, and there won't be many Paddlers there on a week day...Great little bit of water to wet a fly, or drift a float.
  15. The Black flies are done! However, the deer flies will eat you all day and the Mosquitoes will eat you all night!!!
