  1. Yup, I hear them Mercs runs almost as good as Yamahas!!!
  2. Steve will take your money for launching, but he will also tell you where to fish...
  3. Great Pics Ric! Good to see your still breathing!
  4. I'll be there Saturday morning. MCI-Hamilton Chapter table.
  5. NICE! I was out both days and didn't move a rod...
  6. I say its an Atlantic...Maybe one of the Trout guys will chime in?
  7. Kevin Callan's 2 books have a few 'short' trips listed in them.
  8. Bay City Marine did my Trailer a few years back for $35 a side! I'll pay that any day to avoid the mess of doing it myself.
  9. Early season Pike(water temps below 45) won't chase anything moving much faster than real slow...
  10. I was about to question the 40hp on a 17 foot boat...But I see it a tiller and 40 is the max.
  11. More interesting is at 2:45-2:51 what looks to be a smolt Rainbow?
  12. It is truly amazing how these business owners can allow such bad reputations to prevail in this age of mass-information sharing!
  13. It means the previous owner of Grimsby Tackle, Adrian, could make you feel like you were trespassing at tmes...
  14. Its funny that I've never felt that 'vibe', and I'm pretty sensitive to that kinda thing...I used to get that at Grimsby Tackle from the previous owner...Martin, the new owner couldn't be friendlier!
  15. Without seeing it, I'd say $2000-$2500, maybe $3000 on the highside. Again, without seeing it...
  16. I fish NY waters...Was told by a border guard carry your passport to avoid any trouble. Last spring I was topped by NY DEC and County Sheriff, they only asked to see licenses and PFDs...I won't be calling the 1-800# when I return home...I'll just have to risk it!
  17. Since you'll be trolling with it a clicker is a likely must have feature...A Calcutta 400B is good choice, as is a Daiwa Luna 300, both are over $200 though...But well worth the money. A St.Croix Avid AC300 is about $225, exact same as a discontinued Daiwa Millionaire CV-Z 300, which is a bombproof reel! And very similar to the Luna and Calcutta 400B. I'd suggest spending a bit more and never worrying about replacing it.
  18. Vince, what do you plan on doing with it? Is it an all-around Muskie rod that you plan on casting and trolling with? Or is it technique specific, like to be used for Jerkbaits?
  19. Grimsby Tackle also offers a great selection and excellent customer service!
  20. funny, I remember as a kid in the early 80s cork seemed to go out of fashion and everything went to foam...then back to Cork, foam, cork, foam, cork, foam
  21. I didn't even know Wayne had a bird?!
