  1. Agreed 100%. For those of you on Instagram check out my page. My handle is ONE_TRACC_MIND I hope to get into a few more eyes and bass this weekend. Cheers Joe
  2. Yup worked like a charm for me...bone dry now.
  3. Thx guys... For sure Dave let me know if you have time to meet up for a few hours I can pick you up in town by boat.
  4. Sorry for the pics, my buddy in the red jacket holding a beautiful eye and his person best. Here are a few bass...
  5. Hey guys/girls, thought I would share some of my fall action thus far... A buddy and I headed up to cottage Sunday for three days of fishing. Our first stop was a decent size lake close to cottage in the parry sound area. With the cooler weather that came in I was thinking the water temps would be in that sweet spot. My Lowrance showed water in the 58-59 deg area so I don't think the lake has turned yet. We had a very tough time locating the SM bass, however, did locate some LM bass in small pockets here and there. Nothing to really write home about but at least we picked off a few. On Monday and Tuesday we fished the cottage lake and noticed the water temps the same 57-59 deg. Again the SM bass very tough to locate with only a few, so I'm pretty sure the lake hasn't turned over. I decided to hit a flat in about 25 ft of water for some walleye. The eyes, and I mean the hens were on the feed. Over the two days we managed about 12 eyes with several over 5 and one real nice one. We also made attempts to locate the LM, I found a small school of them, lost the biggest one when I tried swinging her in the boat. Didn't think she was pushing 5 till she bounced off the side of my rig, dam! It was a great start to my fall season and hoping the SM will come out and play soon. Back up this weekend so my fingers are crossed. Happy thanks giving all... Joe
  6. Kajjiji is what it is. I have both sold and purchased items without any big issues. The main issues I see is a lot of people think their things are worth more then what they actually are. I find if I price what I'm trying to sell competitively it will sell. Asking $20,000 for a boat that is only worth $12,000 (example) will cause lots of low balls and inquiries without many interst. Of course to each their own but this works for me.
  7. I remember years ago, I was 16 fishing in the old 50 hp and under series out on tri lakes. Toward the end of the day my dad and I pull into this shallow bay. I snag up and as I pull closer I notice a cage in the water filled with 5 decent bass. I remember may dad saying to me leave it alone it's there for a reason. Not knowing at the time there was 2 tournament directors waiting in the woods to take pictures of the cheaters. I can just see those guy thinking it was my dad and I. At the weigh in the cheaters brought up their fish from the cage. They then humiliated them in front of everyone. I remember the guys had a nice purple skeeter ss90 and telling my dad I wanted a boat like that. My dad told me to get a job and one day I could. We weighed in one fish lol... I still have the bailing bucket I won at the prize table. Things will never change, there will always be people who will find a way to take from others. Its just the way it is. Losers !
  8. The fishing has suffered for sure. I use to fish it often about 10 yrs ago and always did very well for bass. Numbers and size. Fished it again this yr last yr and the yr before. Couldn't catch a fish over 2 pounds and we not the only boat complaining about the same thing. The one year it was a tournament, while we caught lots of fish nothing over 2 pounds and I thing top team had just over 13 pounds and biggest bass was like 3.5 pounds. I hope this lake can bounce back, I did really like fishing it.
  9. Yup the only reason live wells are at the rear is to minimize stress on the fish not for bow lift. Also a mod v haul is no comparison to a v haul. I'm guessing the ride will be similar to the predator which is/was a wicked boat and layout. $36,000 is decent price however, a 200 is considerably more money. This boat rigged out with high end TM and close to high end electronic after tax will be over $50 grand. Here in Ontario with that 150 basic model will be $45 grand. Fully rigged over $60 grand. That price puts you into a fully decked out triton with 200. Man at the fishing show a 17ft rebel with a 75 started at $32 grand! The question is tin or glass? For me I'm going glass hands down. (In a bass boat layout)
  10. 100% man it's a nice rig no argument there but this boat gonna cost more then a 19 ft high end glass rig and it's gonna be slower. I would rather buy the Lund pro v. If I want a high power high end bass boat its glass. I had smaller glass bass rigs in the past and they are great riding boats.
  11. That's interesting... Nice vid thx. I did like those yeti coolers but never liked the price.
  12. I feel your frustration, I do but blaming cops that are just doing their job doesn't fix the issue. Yes your $1000 boat got stolen but maybe that cop stopped a boater from drinking and boating. And maybe that saved a persons life.... Who knows, I know my loved ones lives are worth more then $1000. With out sounding like a D bag, the best advise I can give you is stop making your property easy to steal. The harder it is to steal the easier it is to keep.
  13. Really? I didn't realize a region was a fishing spot. Hey man where you fishing North America? Wow...
  14. Nice looking LM! Where about are you camping/ fishing? Muskoka, kawartha, haliberton ?
  15. The xi5 had a lot of issues coming out of the gate and I believe there is still a few issues that they have to fix up. The terrova and the ipilot have been around for some time and have very little issues. By the time motor guide gets it perfect minn kota will prob have an update to the terrova replacing the head with a new updated one with more features. Just think the xi5 needs another full season to fully work out all the bugs.
  16. Landry is bang on, I too have a terrova with ipilot and love it. I had a fortrex on my last boat which was a bass boat and was worried about not liking the electric steer but the motor is great. My only suggestion for you would be 80lbs 24v + or nothing. You will not like the terrova with a 12 volt. You will barely get a full day use with moderate wind using any of the features. I would suggest the 55# maximum 12v. Thats me
  17. Lucas slick mist. Amazing, fast and very easy to apply. Used it on my glass bass boat when I had one and works just as good on my crestliner.
  18. Hey guys just gonna bump this up if anyone interested feel free to pm me for more info. Thx Joe
  19. That's a big 10-4. Those poor walleye take a pounding. In feel sorry for them, our cottage lake use to have tons of nice walleye and over harvesting killed them off. The mnr brought them back in early 2000 and had a tight limit. You know what the walleye started to come back in decent numbers, so they allowed more walleye to the angler and changed the slot. Gone.
  20. I'm just saying dollar high or dollar low us as Canadians and even more ontarians seem to get the shaft. John, implying I don't read the news is Bull. We all know that we get hosed. You said it yourself oil has dropped 50% has our dollar dropped 50% yes we pay high taxes but we always had high taxes. If our dollar was closer to par with the U.S. Dollar and the cost of oil was still down 50% I don't think we would see much of a savings.
  21. The exchange rate didn't matter when our dollar was par with the U.S. Dollar so shy should it matter now? I'm just saying. Don't know about you guys but I didn't notice any big savings when we had a higher dollar, gas, food tackle? I'm no economist but...
  22. My brother lives in Florida they paying about 60 cents for reg gas when you convert gallons to litres and its predicting to go down to low 50 cent per litre by end of month. I was in Tennessee few months back, gas there was high $.50. And thank you for reminding me about the exchange rate I had no idea our dollar was76 cents to the U.S. Hey who remembers paying $1.30 a litre when our dollars was close, par or better then the U.S. Dollar??? Hey bill keep making excuses and we will keep getting boned. My brother just texted me reg gas is $2.30 a gallon is south Florida. Do the math bill. That's where I'm getting my info from.
  23. The issue here is why are we still paying top dollar for crap gas! South of the boarder pays almost half of what we are paying in most states. Who is sick of this government giving it to us in the @ss?? I know I am. Gotta love ontaribble!
