I did good with silver and also half/half earlier this week. Iced 4, lost a crapload, biggest was about 6-7lbs or so.

I've been in my fair share of altercations but there is a few unwritten rules that I go by.. Never kick someone when they are down, never go for the eyes/throat/jewels with intent to injure (I'm not talking about punching someone in the face, I'm referring to eye gouging, and other gutless moves). If the guy has stopped fighting back, that's it... it's over.. I'm not going to beat the living crap out of someone to prove a point. I have rarely ever been the instigator, but because I grew up a bit faster then most of my friends I was the 'enforcer' in our group... You know the guy who sticks up for his drunken, idiot buddies? lol

Good to hear! Funny how it only takes one pissed off cashier to ruin someones shopping experience.. I wonder how much those people actually cost the company due to lost revenue? Would be interesting to find out.

I had to bring a french press when we portaged into Algonquin Not that I can complain to much, that first coffee in the morning was awesome. Mike, don't forget one for the trip in June! lol

Has anyone approached the landowner and asked permission to fish on his property? What about talking to the LPCA to get a definite answer on the property rights? I did this on a very popular river and now have access to some GREAT fishing spots without worrying about if I'm trespassing or not...

That pike pic is totally believable.. I snapped a few similar pics when a 3lb walleye I brought up had a brute of a pike attached to it, lol

For sure.. There are all kinds of different strains out in the lake. All kinds of wanderers out there Like I mentioned, there are the Manistee fish which we see on the south shore of Lake E, along with the stockers from the Catt, also Ohio fish. But then you also get runs of wild fish (The Catt for example) which are heads above any stocked fish and you can tell as soon as you put hooks into them.. I've seen long slender fish that look like bullets with fin clips. It all depends on the strain. So I guess we don't have any 'true' steelhead or salmon in the Great Lakes... Good to know.
