  1. Yeah, I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge on a straight razor yet, lol...
  2. Show us your straight edge Dave!! lol Or do you use those pink disposables? :
  3. My dad bought some of those :) But I gotta admit, they work pretty good!!! Although I much prefer dropping a senko at the side of the dock and teasing those big bass out.
  4. I finally got a portable pack for my Humminbird 747c and with some help from my bud Dave we got me all squared away in about 2mins out in Simcoe. Talk about fun, seeing those fish come off the bottom and chase your bait is an absolute blast.. I'd much rather look at that screen then a flasher.
  5. I've recently purchased my first DE razor(Merkur 38HD long shaft) and I can tell you there is no way that a Fusion, Mach3 or any other similar torture device will ever touch my face again... Got a big sampler pack of blades, currently using a Derby with great results.. Combine that with a good badger brush, some Proraso soap and I look forward to shaving everyday (ok, maybe every other day, lol)
  6. Subaru makes a great car, with great resale. Only downside I can see is the mileage, they don't sip, they gulp.
  7. -22 right now in Barrie.. Should be a fun day out on Lake Simcoe tomorrow.
  8. If you aren't on a OFSC sanctioned trail, I don't know why you'd need a trail pass. You definitely don't need one to be out on Simcoe.
  9. Panther Martins...
  10. Dynamite works well when all else fails!
  11. According to 'Going Green' on WFN, they used that chemical in a 6 mile stretch of the canal where the carp had gotten into and found exactly 1 fish....
  12. Wayne, I am sure you would have cleaned up with a few small jig heads and some shrimp!!!! I'm sure all the planes had you smiling the entire time... Were you critiquing their landings? lol
  13. I would probably stick to the tried and true.... bags, jigs, live worms etc etc.
  14. See if you can find a pair Riverteks by Simms.. Not as pricey as the G4 waders and have served me very well for over a year of some hardcore steelhead fishing.
  15. Until I see some proof, I will be.
  16. They aren't here yet.
  17. Does Toyota pay you for every reply? If so, you must be making some great money. Stop taking this as some personal attack and go get your damn truck fixed before you end up on darwinawards.com
  18. I'm super late with a reply Dan, but that is an amazing photograph. I'm really considering a DSLR for my next trip to the NW...
  19. hahahha!!! My mom would be proud Thanks TJ!!
  20. 4th day of the show, 15th of Feb. FAMILY DAY!~!!!
  21. I'm going to get skunked again this year at trying to win tickets, lol
  22. Al, I knew there would be a good reason for this.. silly me
  23. I wish I could sleep on the job and get paid what that guy does...
  24. So within those 1-2 weeks that some of our US friends are up here fishing, are they not consuming any of the fish they catch? I would assume that's exactly what they'd be doing, so your concerns over the 300 fish possession limit really only applies when they pack up and go home no? The whole 'global warming' argument is a bit far fetched...
  25. So the people that come to Rice in the summer are worried that the icefishermen are somehow going to wipe out the panfish population? What about other lakes that allow ice fishing throughout the winter, are their fish populations decimated by the time the ice melts? I think people are overreacting a bit....
