I don't think the refs have been that bad. You can't go on the bo's from the crowd, lol. The last call I don't think should have been a 2+10 though... The refs have let them play... That charging penalty was pretty bad though.

If they are coming from the lake I would think they are steelhead regardless.. Now you might be getting into some different strains.. Manistee fish, Ohio fish, etc.. They definitely don't all fight the same... I consider resident fish to be called rainbows (ie they are in the river all season)

Mike was in double digits (as usual) for the day, those were my only fish. I was running a wee bit short the entire day, had two on, a few headshakes and they were gone. Was nice to end the day like that though... And that CTS/RiverKeeper setup? Oh boy... talk about light. My GL3/AngSpec combo in comparison weighs a tonne. I think I see a CTS in my near future...

Anytime you do a TB on a TDI, the tensioner needs to be replaced... Waterpump is also a good idea, along with all the rollers... Raf, these cars aren't geared for the 1/4.. To give you an idea of before and after.. Before (stock) : 90hp/155ftlbs. After (nozzle + chip) : 130hp/240ftlbs. These cars will NEVER be fast, but it does wake them up quite a bit. I have a few other goodies that I need to install in my car, after it's all said and done, I should be in the neighbourhood of 180-190whp and 350ftlbs.. Enough for all the rice rockets out there

It might smoke more, really depends on the car. I know mine was just a haze at WOT after my install.. No need for a chip either (although a chip + nozzle combo makes the car completely different)..

So do they run the torch 24x7 or only during the day? I missed it in Barrie today, I wanna catch it somewhere else... Even in the middle of nowhere is good enough for me.

lol, I don't think there is any need to apologize to anyone. I know guys that can't even break 1000km's on the highway But they aren't exactly stock! I'm not either, currently making 151hp/251ftlbs... If you guys that drive TDI's haven't done any upgrades, I definitely would suggest a nozzle upgrade. 15hp/40ftlbs and a 5% increase in mileage. Really wakes up the car. Nozzles can be had for $150CAD..
