  1. My parents had a trailer in Holiday, FL (About 45mins north of Tampa)... Monthly fees I think for their place were around $300 a month.. Fantastic fishing as well, my oldman and I would go out to HoneyMoon Island State Park and catch all kinds of fish (whitings, pomps, sea trout, ladyfish, spanish mackerel, etc).. Also if you like baseball, Dunedin is the place the Jays call home for the winter. They also checked out Panama city last year.. The accommodations were great, but the fishing was less then par...nice beaches though, lol...
  2. Want a great AS and Winter in one? Nokian WR.. It's better then half the snows on the market.
  3. I'm using a custom 1pc 7ft Rainshadow XST 423 10-17lb for senko's and jigging. No problems pulling the cows out of the slop with that thing. Tip is also soft enough to feel the smallies pick up the tubes.. Some rods can pull double duty without issue.
  4. The memory card will still be fine, the camera most likely not.
  5. Chris, next time you need someone to fish with little notice, let me know
  6. Wait, I thought the report was supposed to come AFTER the trip? Goodluck boys!
  7. Charters out in Lake O already do this... The MNR doesn't give a crap.
  8. Your bank can get rid of those NSF charges easily.. But it doesn't look like they want to help you. How long have you and the wife had accounts there? Also, if you have a mortgage or LOC or anything I'd bring it up and threaten to switch banks if they don't get rid of them. I wouldn't put up with that Bull, especially if you've been with them for a while.
  9. I'm allergic, so I'm batting a personal 100% catch and release rate
  10. Then use a bit of common sense next time. Check out the number of 'views' compared to 'replies' you have, maybe that will give you a hint at just how many people LURK this forum for nothing but information.
  11. Otherwise known as flatlining.
  12. So you have... -----line---stopper bead--slipknot------weight-----slipknot--stopper bead------line.... Correct?
  13. Mike, I'd love to see a pic of that if you hook into one of those monsters!
  14. My best day of smallmouth fishing was in a downpour.. You wouldn't think topwaters would be good in the rain, but I had fish coming out of 20ft of water to smash them.. Absolute riot!!
  15. They need to get a CO camped out in Erindale park during Sept and Oct.. Imagine all the $$$ they'd make?
  16. Only thing I use flourocarbon for is leader material when I'm fishing for steelhead with the pin. Spooled up once with it and didn't find it very supple at all compared to mono..
  17. 13 replies, 1,000+ views.. The madness will be happening soon!
  18. 3hrs from Toronto? You might wanna increase that a bit, it will vastly increase your chance of catching better quality fish.
  19. Yup, The Pool and Little Lake are infested with the little buggers.
  20. You people are crazy for not going!!! Jump on this! You won't regret it.
  21. Get out to the piers and let us know!
  22. How expensive are those baits you are throwing? If I'm going after big snakes, 80lb flouro leaders (min) with good components...
  23. My suggestion is to not even bother posting the weights and stick to the lengths.
  24. Nice fish! Especially being so close to Toronto.. I'd guess the 38incher goes 13-15lbs at most.
  25. Absolutely..
