  1. Berkley Gulp makes a wicked imitation shrimp! I know a few of the locals down there run nothing but a small feather on the back of their jigs.. No live bait at all.
  2. Sweet!!! Smallies on the fly would be a riot.
  3. What kind of body/lens were they?
  4. I don't think we need detailed reports about lakes this small to be honest. The OP should use a little restraint next time.
  5. If I was in Clearwater, I'd be fishing HoneyMoon Island State Park every single day. Some Doc's Goofy jigs and half a shrimp are all you need. No need for the salmon stick either. A M or ML 6'6 spinning rod, 10-15lb braid and 20lb flouro leader will work fine. I've caught everything from sharks to pomps, to ladyfish, to reds with it. Sure you'll get spooled if you get into a big king mackerel, but you would anyhow with your salmon rig, lol. Seriously, check out the park so much better then fishing any pier.
  6. Dan, you kiss pike, someone is shining down on you :)
  7. Maybe we weren't blessed with magic line like it seems some people were. To bad! lol
  8. You haven't had any bleeding issues? My once green line is now a nice tinge of yellow, lol.
  9. See that van parked outside your house with the big FREE CANDY painted on the side? .............That's Roy.
  10. I'm not to sure if the Shimano Compre comes in 2 pc, but if it does, that would be my choice.
  11. On the bottom left of the page you should see two pulldown boxes. You want to use the left box and select 'club'. That will get you back to the old green/brown board profile.
  12. Lemmy isn't dead, lol.
  13. You'd pay HST on a used motor here if bought from a dealer. Private party? No.
  14. Nice lew! I usually keep the house at 75 or so. I also keep the blinds closed. Sun really tends to heat things up, even through the windows.
  15. Still can remove the keyboard Very simple process.
  16. Rice isn't going to work with puke, lol!!!
  17. I hope the OP has the appropriate gear to deal with those bigguns! You don't wanna be fishing them with bass gear
  18. Not a line you wanna be tossing topwaters with (especially walk the dog types).. Like I mentioned before, switched back to PP, problems are gone. We'll see how long it stays on my spinning setups
  19. Can't go wrong with either choice IMHO. You also need to take into account the price of glass as well (Lenses) for each company.
  20. Mouth of the Beaver? Or a southern shore Lake E trib? Looks familiar, lol.
  21. Upper/Lower Niagara for monster smallies.
  22. Perhaps myself and Terry and the rest of the guys who've had problems can get a few tips from you pros...
  23. Who's talking about spinning outfits here? If I had highframes on my St.Croix Avid, I doubt I'd have any line wrap issues either, lol..
  24. Good job Mike!!
  25. Wow Joey, that's a pig! Awesome pics as well
