  1. Side bracket for sure. And Johnny, you definitely go faster, especially when the canoe is loaded down with 1000lbs worth of fishing/camping gear, lol.
  2. Not really.. There's a reason why some glasses are $250+ and other are like $50, lol. you definitely get what you pay for.
  3. Haven't boated a ski yet this year, although I haven't honestly fished for them either, lol. Good job Mike.
  4. I'll never buy anything other then Maui Jims.. Glass lens, polarized, local shop you can drop by and get warranty work. Well worth the price. Awesome customer service. I got a free pair of lenses after I went in there and told them that I smashed my one lens underneath a backpack strap, lol. They asked how old the glasses were, I said maybe 2 months. Took my frames, new lenses, new carrying case, etc etc. You can't beat service like that.
  5. Rider insurance folks, never worry about a dropped/broken/smashed camera again.
  6. Pet ducks are awesome! Looks like a great time TJ.
  7. Isn't that section C&R only?
  8. That's something your guests should make the call on. Mike, if you ever get big and need some promo photography, let me know! lol
  9. That's something your guests should make the call on.
  10. I wonder why Lowrance would put all that high tech into a system without a HD colour screen.. Seems like a huge waste. A buddy is mine runs a HD Humminbird and all the side/downscan imaging is unreal...
  11. For me a guide is never about catching fish, it's about learning the tools and techniques that will help me on my home waters. Fish are a bonus.
  12. 80-130lb flouro, why mess around?
  13. If I was fishing for salmon around that area, it would be out of OS.... Might also wanna try the mouth of 12 Mile Bay.
  14. I think there is a reason why guys that make a living guiding for muskie are using full sized reels compared to the Curados/Revos.. Hopefully a few of them chime in.
  15. I'm sure more of the muskie guys will chime in, I have a feeling they'll also suggest the fullsized reels. No reason to limit yourself. The big reels throw everything well.
  16. Terry, did you mention the lake name? I must have missed it.
  17. For muskie? That will won't handle the big baits very well. I'd stick to the full sized reels (Cardiff, ABU Record, Okuma Induron, etc)
  18. If that's Lew's happy face, I don't wanna see his grumpy face, lol!!!!
  19. Not much rain up here at all.
  20. I can't even count them, lol.
  21. Terry, forgot to mention but for our flyin, we back trolled 99% of the time. Best way to cover water unless you've found the motherload right below the boat.
