It's mid February and I should be 15 miles out on Simcoe laying a beating on the whities. Well as everyone knows there's no ice out there Now don't get me wrong I don't mind fishing Kemp, but the crowds are out of control and it's not very peaceful when all I hear all day are people constantly yapping back and forth.. So I decided to see if I could get lucky with a really small window I saw opening up yesterday.. It definitely paid off... By the time I left the river was up again and on the verge of unfishable..
Mike, that WAS the pose I saw! I should have come over and introduced myself! Good job bud, you had those lakers dialed in for sure.
I saw that guy in the blue come over and take a peak after you landed your 2nd fish :)
Dr.S is right on that. A good pair of polypropylene socks and a thin pair of wools ontop will keep your feet nice and dry! Cotton socks in even the most expensive boot will leave you with wet, sweaty feet at the end of the day after humping through the bush.
Salomon hands down. I've beaten mine to death and they haven't quit yet. Gore-tex waterproof upper, Vibram sole, lots of ankle support.. I won't be buying another brand anytime soon. Well worth the $$$.
You don't really access EXIF data directly. GPS location information will be added to your pics if you take them while your GPS is on.. Make sure it's off and you'll have nothing to worry about I'm sure there's a setting in the iPhone to exclude that information somewhere
Great for letting everyone know your fav fishing hole. By all means, post it up!!!!
Iphone also includes GPS information in the EXIF data of the picture. I've found a few sweet steelhead spots by checking this.
