  1. I'd look for a bargain depending on where I'm fishing because all the guide is doing for me is letting me access water I'd otherwise not have access to. Whoever can float me down that specific river the cheapest is who I'd pick. I don't need them tying hooks, suggesting baits, or telling me where to drift/cast
  2. You can't take guys out on the St.Lawrence muskie hunting and charge the same as Mark Thorpe (Or similar).. You'll get laughed at.. There's gotta be a reason why people go out with you to start and in most cases, it's the price.
  3. No reason to change the numbers, just update the owner information at ServiceOntario.
  4. It must be fun to have equipment like that at work! lol
  5. No ownership papers for the boat, only the trailer.... Closest thing you might get is the registration papers with the numbers (If you can even count that) Keep your receipts! That's about all you have as far as ownership is concerned.
  6. Did you only test two lines? I'd like to see what 20lb Fireline Crystal fails at.
  7. Got a pic of that setup? Sounds interesting.
  8. I don't think we should allow Ben to post these killer reports anymore, the jealousy is killing me! Way to go bud!
  9. Do I need gloves to break 20lb mono? No.. Would I rather use gloves so I don't dig into my hands? Yes. BTW, that gif is hilarious! LOL!
  10. For that price range and that boat it's going to be a tough proposition. I think stateside will be your only choice.
  11. Jose, the braid that was on the Calais I bought from you was great. I think that was Suffix Performance braid if I'm not mistaken... Great stuff.
  12. 20lb mono with gloves? Not a hard task. Do you have to ask your mom to open the jam jars for you?
  13. Hit the piers, find out when the other people are fishing, join the crowds!
  14. Most 20lb braid breaks around 30lbs, some over 40lb. I dunno where you got your numbers but they don't seem very accurate. I know I can easily snap 20lb mono, 20lb braid on the other hand takes a lot more effort.
  15. I left my Cp setup on top of the car once. Made it about 50ft down the road before it went tumbling off the back. Luckily for me it was winter and it landed in a ft of nice soft powder, lol.
  16. 15lb braid has the breaking strength of like 30lb mono. Might wanna re-think your casting technique, lol.
  17. Quick tip: You aren't going to get guys giving up info on pressured systems like the north shore Lake O tribs.. Go check a few out.. If you do post a report, keep the backgrounds/details to a minimum.
  18. I think the fact it got super limp when wet was why it was wrapping so badly. I fish a lot of topwater and it was driving me insane. It casts very good however. Never had an issue with braid doing this before.
  19. Jumped on the Suffix 832 bandwagon last year, wish I didn't. Tip wrap was brutal, pulled it off all my baitcast reels and went back to 20# PPro.
  20. I think I paid around $200 for my Salomon Light Revo GTX boots.. Even with the same materials, I don't think the two come close to comparison
  21. Mike, I must have missed those bikinis! lol
  22. You need to fish more Dan!
  23. The only way you're making it out to the main lake is in a boat.
  24. When you're logged into your Photobucket account and put your mouse over one of the pics a little box will pop up. You want to click the IMG Code heading above the last box.. This will copy the code for you, then all you have to do is paste it into your thread.
  25. Copy the IMG tags..
