A jighead and half a shrimp will catch pretty much everything. Cast it out as far as you can and rip it back with some big 1-2ft jerks... ladyfish, pomps, sharks, whitings, whatever..
Selective harvest and habitat improvement will do more for the fish population then anything else. I take maybe 1-2 fish a year for roe (and those are stateside stocked fish)
If the boat's crocked on the trailer, give it a little push when it's out of the water. Backing it down the ramp again trying to line it up is an exercise in futility.
Nothing wrong with disposing of fish or keeping your worms healthy to be honest.
Another one of mine, pulling your boat up half the ramp then getting out and putting on the tiedowns, etc.
Get out of the way so OTHER PEOPLE CAN USE THE RAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some guy asking me if he can keep a steelhead on the Notty standing about 5ft away from the No Kill sign.
Although I give him credit, at least he asked, lol.
Wow, talk about loaded! It's too bad the ladder didn't take up a bigger section of the dam... Some of those fish are just going to jump and jump and get nowhere.
My neighbours don't seen to mind those fat little hen browns I keep once a year from a certain southern shore Lake O trib. I myself don't eat fish.
Oldman really enjoys the little shakers I get for him from Lake E as well.
My freezer is only filled with roe, nothing else
