He must have had the transducer rigged up to sit horizontally, another reason why the ice ducers are nice.. Nothing to rig up, just drop it in and go, it will always sit properly in the water.
These are also the same guys that drive back to the city with a deer proudly strapped to that back of their side by side for everyone on the highway to see. Classless.
I could see if you're fishing 5ft of water, but target separation of less then 2 inches in anything over 10ft will make zero difference. The graph is an easy choice for someone who's never iced fished before. Let alone the wider beams on the graphs which will allow you to see fish come into the zone way before a flasher will.. When you're fishing deep for lakers/whities, this is a huge advantage of a graph. Then you've also the advantage of using the graph in the summer time off a boat or similar..... can't do that with a flasher..
You need a bracket. All Minn Kota bowmounts do... PD, PD II, Terrova, etc.
You should be able to run the MKA-16-02 or the MKA-21 ( I ran the MKA-21 on our old PD, worked great)
I liked how they had some offensive zone pressure on Boston, win or lose they played a way better hockey game then I've seen them play this year. Really missing Bolland out there, Boston is exactly the type of team where you need a guy like that.
Lucky Simcoe doesn't get that deep I haven't had any issues out on Lake Joe at 150ft and beyond. A wee bit slower then real time, but nothing to lose sleep over.
At least you can understand why guys are shooting each other now...
Speaking of the Hunter Safety course, there are some people taking it that should never be given a firearm.. I had a few in my class that just made you shake your head.
