It's not like they've got some guy at a switch say 'Big Cliffs house is at 70, it should be at 68, let's login and change that'.. If demand is high on the grid you're connected to they can limit the amount your section gets. That's all this means.

If you use a 2 bank you'll need to remove the link between the batteries before charging.. 1 bank is easier for that setup (I had the same in our boat before I switched over to a 24v system)

Allows them to cycle down your A/C, hotwater heater, pool pumps when demand is high... Gives you real time usage stats, etc.

Watch for big suspended fish just below the ice (top 30ft of the water column).. Also I like to run and gun, if I'm not marking fish I'm moving every 10 mins or so. -
