  1. All that and still second in the league in points! Man, he sucks..... lol
  2. Because they've lost 2 games in a row? Oh the horror, lol.
  3. Lots and lots of options these days... As for backing you can run Dacron, parachute cord, whatever really. As for mainline I run super lines (6lb Nano in above freezing temps) and 6lf Fireline in below zero temps. If you want to stick to mono a buddy of mine uses 8lb Raven and likes the stuff, it's also cheap. I hate high vis lines personally, I find them wirey and just don't see the point of them...
  4. So many chances, the boys gotta get one past Howard.
  5. GMC Canyon in 2015 will have a 2.8 Duramax.
  6. Driftwood on the Ottawa is really really nice.. Good fishing as well.
  7. No need to worry about lens flare in the ACC
  8. I wonder if I could get in with my Canon 100-400 with it locked down at 100mm? lol!
  9. Not one I could take some decent pics of!!! Maybe this weekend. You get those at the Marsh again?
  10. Awesome Joey! Love the one of him sticking his head up.
  11. Let me know how that kit works out for you Paul. I also see some drifts in our near future
  12. You know it's rough when you gotta run from Weller to the Bar in order to catch a greasy lake trout!! Usually if you hug the bottom around Weller, it's pretty much laker after laker. We marked a lot of fish last year but man they just didn't want to commit. Like I said, if the US side is hot again this spring, that's where I'm going..
  13. That's one lake I wouldn't be driving out on.. Lots and lots of current.
  14. Algonquin would be a great bet. Lots and lots of stocked lakes to choose from. MNR also publishes a report which shows which lake got how many fish and the frequency in which they are stocked.
  15. No need to go to the US for a 14ft tiller, they are everywhere around here. Before we purchased our Lund we had a 15ft Legend Widebody tiller with a 40hp Honda 4 stroke. With a few improvements made (front casting deck, livewell, etc) it was probably one of my favourite boats.. Extremely stable, crazy fuel mileage, took the rough water without any issues, just an awesome boat. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one. Sold it to a guy who cottages on Sparrow.
  16. Was a great summer, spring on the southern shore not so much compared to previous years.
  17. I had a feeling these weren't fishermen... Sounds like a few were in the bed as well.
  18. Southern shore was a bit of a bust last year.. A lot of the fish seemed to be over on the US side. If that's the case this year, I'm hauling the boat over. Might as well make use of that NY license
  19. My oldman loves eating those things.... and whitings and mackerel, and everything else.
  20. I agree the days of signing up at GM when you were 19 and working until you were 60 are over.. The last time I checked, Walmart didn't require a college degree, only a high school diploma... I've found a lot of the recent university grads (Especially in the IT field) are way too entitled.. Thinking they should be walking into 80K+ a year jobs right out of school with zero experience... Gotta start at the bottom like everyone else..
  21. Then make sure they get an education..
  22. It is when you're out there doing 70mph and hit a pressure crack.. People rip around on that lake ALL the time..
  23. I gotta find someone in Ottawa to ship me a case of this stuff!
