  1. The mark and pray method doesn't work on a belt or chain, lol. You need to do it properly. Saving yourself $1000 is worth it to a lot of people.
  2. I'm not ready to throw Anderson under the bus just yet, he's still relatively new.. If he can't improve when he's got a good set of D in front of him, then I'd start to worry.
  3. You can easily DIY this. Although $800-$1000 every 120-160k isn't a big deal. You'll spend more on tires/brakes in that time.
  4. If there's a mayfly hatch or similar, they'll be shallow. The fish don't care what month it is.
  5. I cannot wait for spring pike on Gbay, I've got a milk run that paid off big time last year. Let's hope the weather cooperates!
  6. Last year there were five Saturdays in April as well, people waited a week longer then they could have because they didn't read the regs, lol.
  7. Awesome job Simon! Next time we fly down to Jamaica, I'm packing a rod, lol.
  8. I'd run two cheaper batteries in parallel vs one AGM. Same voltage, twice the amp hours.
  9. I'd like to know his thought process when he's trying to clear the puck THROUGH THE SLOT!!! Sometimes I am in awe of him, and other times I think to myself what the hell is this kid doing?
  10. Herring, smelts, mackeral, whatever. Pike aren't picky
  11. Heartwrenching news. Anytime I am out chasing Snowy Owls, I never forget her offering to show me her spots or meet up and hunt them together. She'll be missed
  12. Can't wait for spring, planner boards and shallow water browns! (The lakers aren't too bad either)
  13. Goodluck, I hope you find some bait!
  14. Swimbaits, nice and slow. Can't beat a Johnson Silver minnow tipped with a big Kalins grub either (White is my fav) You can also fish this really slow and through the thickest weeds you can find. I also like salmon spoons, they're light and you can fish them slow as well without them sinking too fast. Spinnerbaits are another great spring pike bait as well. Also, like it's been mentioned, don't leave home without some slash baits (Husky Jerks, XRaps, etc)
  15. Give Huronia Bait in Fesserton a try, that's where I get my sucker minnows for fall walleye.
  16. Just go get whatever is frozen at the grocery store. Dead sticking dead bait for pike in the winter works great.
  17. Let's hope no one is stupid enough to try this, lol.
  18. Sure, but most people haven't a clue, which was my point.
  19. People aren't smart enough to remove EXIF data, lol.
  20. I'm not looking for perfection, it's just something that happens to them often which they need to improve on
  21. They played ok. They got stuck in their own end and had a hard time getting through the neutral zone near the end of the 2nd/start of the 3rd.
  22. Brian, I saw one the other day on the roof of Canplas Industries besides St.Louis bar and grill (Veterans and Caplan). I'm not to sure if he's going to call that place home or was just migrating, but it seems like a decent area. Looked like a female (Lots of grey)
