  1. You were surprised they didn't apologize? That was the funniest part right there.
  2. I dont think Abraham Lincoln said that about the internet...its good though!
  3. Well..it would be a big deal to me and it is to the OP. I would want to know...This is how you will find out how good a friends they are (or were) Cant have it in the back of your mind everytime you get together.
  4. Understand your frustration.....get them all together and ask if you screwed up or did something that they were not man enough to say something to you about, You dont want to lose some friends of 25 years or create a rift between the women.
  5. What I can't get over is nothing from the US border states....I haven't seen anything from them.
  6. The trick that they use now is disguising their numbers to look like LOCAL numbers...I have had calls from my own number and have people call me asking if i called them...my number is blocked so i know its a scam and explain it to them.
  7. In Canada we typically vote someone out and not necesarily vote someone in...I have a feeling it will be a minority, If only we had a crystal ball.
  8. Just think what todays generation will have to look forward to finding their favorite childhood play toys....old cell phones !
  9. Table and couch don't really fit do they? But nice job on the table for sure
  10. Bill...you are right, the father tried to cover up for his son saying it wasn't him and the car was stolen despite the entire neigourhood seeing and photographing the kid behind the wheel...thus the father has been charged with obstruction. The apple doesnt fall to far
  11. Some good points here however I,called my agent and asked his advice and his comment was if someone comes in his office and say they purchase a new boat and want the policy transfered then they automatically ask the value of the new boat, you have to understand that some people are not savy enough or have enough experience in these things to know what they are doing that they rely on the "pros" to give them advice. A lowlife is a person that does something to someone else and then takes off...reports the car as stolen and his father then backs him up on his claim despite the fact 10 people got his picture behind the wheel when he came back to get the bumper and fender that stil, had the licence plate on it....the police were already looking for him as he was tearing through residential zones. Sorry I don't mince words on people like this, you may have a different opinion until it happens to you.
  12. Public service announcement for all to check your boat insurance This week my fishing buddy had a low life kid drive across his lawn and smash in to his boat which then smashed into his truck and then the house. The boat is a write off and the truck is heavily damaged, point is when he called his insurance it seems that when he bought his new boat and called to transfer his policy the insurance company did not increase the value so they are trying to pay him out half of what his boat is worth because that's what the policy is for...in my opinion the insurance company is negligent
  13. It has been many years since they were legal...which is why you can't buy them in Canada anymore. I just wish they would get off their asses and make life jackets mandatory!
  14. Couldnt find them in Kingston
  15. Well...thats a long drive on a beautiful lake....any creek or river that flows into Superior will have a run of Rainbow trout. Stop at any of the road bridges and cast a spoon or spinner
  16. Thank you for the link...wish they could get rid of it
  17. Does anyone have any ifo on that rusted old ship (eyesore) on the shoreline of Lake O near St Catherines??
  18. Landry....I have no vices and other than golf fishing is my lifes passion....its all I do
  19. Big fan of the multiple units here. I have 2 HDS 8 at the bow and a 12 and a 9 at the console. Love the extra detail with the full size screens. There are some excellent deals on the HDS gen 2 out there . I am a big believer in buying once even if itt means a small sacrifice to get it done....(somebody goes without food for a while)..also I never remove my units
  20. The learn button is to pair the remote with the unit and not 1 particular function, I would pull the battery on the remote and the unit and try again , if all the other functions of the remote work make sure you have the gps signal ....of course it doesnt cost anything to pair them up again
  21. I have a Simms suit....pricey yes but in a driving cold rain you will not regret buying something good. Bottom line is with anything related to the outdoors buy the best you can afford.
  22. I am a Kingston guy and I feel for the loyal fans and the community of Belleville....I had no idea this was in the works.
  23. Is it just me? I have had this happen to me and its ALWAYS a young woman
  24. As mentioned I get it so bad I cant lift a coffee....I have to go to physio 2-3 times a week for massage, acupuncture and current....have to wear a elbow band all the time now....takes forever to heal as mentio ed..might heal quicker if I quit playing hockey 2 times a week but??? It definitely will heal quicker with treatment other than the peas and ice packs
