  4. Lundboy.... Thank you for posting the article... but I find ONE fatal flaw in it... There is NO such thing as Illuminati.... The Free Masons have publicly sworn they do not exist! the shear mention of Illuminati discredits this article as bordering on delusional, something cocked up by conspiracy theorists that there is an elite society that controls the globe... Sorry you lost me the second I saw Illuminati mentioned. G
  5. Well if Dave Mercer does it.... We all have to do it!!! That said... you can get VERY sick from doing so. G

  12. I paid $35.00.... www.theoperatorcard.ca and Here is how it worked... I register, and choose someone to administer the test to me (it can be a person of your own choosing). You have to supply an email address for the person administering the test. The then receive an email containing a link, in which they have to fill out a questionnaire. After which they are emailed the test. the work sheet, and the rules. You take the test, The administrator transfers your answers onto the work sheet. The administrator then enters in your answers via a link contained in the email he received. You have your score then and there. A pass is 27 out of 36 (Too low in my opinion) You are able to choose the venue in which you take the test... so long as it is not in your own home... That said it could be very easy to buck the system by simplly using a Hotmail account.. However I did it the Honest way, I hope this clears up any confusion. G
  13. Don't bug me trolling... bug the guy doing 100kms on the sea-doo riding the wake of other boaters... inconvenience everyone for the sake of a few idiots... Cash Grab is right... Most fishermen are an honest crowd... Target the idiots that are the problem... dont paint all boaters with such a wide brush... Hell my FIL has to take it after 40+ years of safe boating... is this really what this exam was supposed to target? it is Bull... plain and simple... But being the lawful sort I am... I have NO CHOICE but to comply. G
  14. While I am against this exam for my own personal reasons.... I decided to take it today... 34 out of 36.... go figure... Will they inform me on the questions I got incorrect? so I can learn from my mistakes? I am assuming it was the questions where you have to give multiple answers... Anyways I am legal... and the Government can kiss my rosey red PICKERAL G
  15. Lundboy... are you a Scientologist? sounds very similar in rhetoric... Ron L Hubbard will save us all! NOT G
  16. On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off your lights for Earth Hour, an event created by the World Wildlife Fund. Earth Hour was created by WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, and in one year has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. In 2008, millions of people, businesses, governments and civic organizations in nearly 200 cities around the globe will turn out for Earth Hour. More than 100 cities across North America will participate, including the US flagships–Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix and San Francisco and Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. We invite everyone throughout North America and around the world to turn off the lights for an hour starting at 8 p.m. (your own local time)–whether at home or at work, with friends and family or solo, in a big city or a small town. What will you do when the lights are off? We have lots of ideas. Join people all around the world in showing that you care about our planet and want to play a part in helping to fight climate change. Don’t forget to sign up and let us know you want to join Earth Hour. One hour, America. Earth Hour. Turn out for Earth Hour! http://www3.earthhourus.org/ G
  17. VI Passive Radar Reflector: Large vessels have radar screens on board. If a pleasure craft has a passive radar reflector mounted on board, its presence will be detected on the large vessel's radar screen. Therefore, the Collision Regulations require a pleasure craft less than 20 metres in length OR which is primarily made of non-metallic materials to have a passive radar reflector mounted or suspended not less than 4 metres above the water, if practical. This provision does not apply when the device is not essential for the safety of the craft (limited traffic conditions, daylight, favourable environmental conditions) or the small size craft or his/her operation away from radar navigation makes compliance impractical. A wooden sailing craft on Silver Lake would not require a passive radar reflector, but on the St. Lawrence River, it would. Given the amount of people fishing G-Bay, St. Lawrence etc... in Fiberglass boats, does this provision apply to you? I have yet to see a Fiberglass boat with a radar reflector.. but there it is in the regs... Or am I reading it incorrectly? is it impractical to install a reflector in a fiberglass boat? G
