well im sorry to rub this into your ice fishing faces but i had the chance to do a little icing my self started off on jan 1st for some specks got my limit in 1 hour 8 inches of ice then tried again on the 3rd with a little pike and a lost rod down the hole dammm last day got a nice 8lb northern made my day weather was just el nino after that the temps were just crazy 8 inches of ice to 5 inches in 2 days i had fun and got the winter itch out but need more when you have 3 kids under the age of 3 it is very hard getting out doing these kind of things thanks mom i love you pics to follow

sorry i didnt know that mike where i fish its 5 lines and i think its alot when the tipups go off but its fun and i like it its good when the fishing is slow

im sure it would be fishable by boat lines i would say 1 but not sure call your local mnr for info i know quebec has 5 lines per angler for ice fishing not 10

one thing i like about canadian tire is if you dont like the product or if it craps out on you you can always return it just keep the receipt in a safe place

a spud is the way to go and dont forget the float suit another way to test ice is dont go on it if your not sure of it

To those who dont know When ice fishing it is important to pick up your garbage laying around outside around the shack either it is a pop can bottle beer or whatever else but mostly ashes from your woodstove to those who have em ive seen plenty of people dump there ashes right on the ice and leave it be the same for poop just a reminder for people who do this and dont know i will make it simple for you and save you hundreds of dollars the mnr look into these kind of things also that could ruin your day of fishing it is called pollution of the lake i just thought i would leave a heads up and keep our lakes clean for decades to come FinS
