well just found out that i will be heading up north (kirkland lake) for the lake trout opener for 2 weeks i will be leaving wednesday night and plan on targetting lakers,pike and pickeral i will be solo so i am hoping to get into some decent fish i will try to take as many pictures as i can and post them when i get back so wish me luck

so when are they gonna ban artificials??? This hard water season ive caught plenty of perch and pickeral(walleye) on w2-w3 rapala ice jigs who needs minnows when you have a handful of artificials

was out from 7-12 today pulled up a good 60 but only came home with 15 9" perch lots of smurfs as we call em over here all on frostees tipped with minnow heads was out about 2 miles to the left of the end of the treeline before big pressure crack 5 feet water lots of trucks and cars out there play safe and fun St lukes is suppose to be the ticket be safe out there
