never fished Redstone but i know there are lakers and bass, Head Lake in town has musky and bass , but lots of fishing pressure, you could access Kashawigamog from there as well i dont think there are many lakes with Pike up there , but you could try Green Lake

I agree 100% with you Simon .... Its funny how there are so many MNR busts in northern Ontario for illegal poaching but hardly ever mentioned ... oh yeah thats because they are not visible minorities so you can't blame some ethnic group for that ...

- we also do the fajita kit with prepared chicken and or beef - steak and rice, if potatoes are too heavy - pasta with prepared meat sauce in ziploc, quick and easy, with side dishes of fish of course

if they are so bent on using technology and eliminating the book regs, then perhaps when someone gets a fishing license the MNR sends them a copy of the regs in some kind of format ... that might eliminate the " I can't find a copy" defense and if you are a senior and the use of technology is not easy for you .. you are out of luck we waste almost a billion on a gas plant but the govt nickels and dimes over this kind of stuff ... assuming that what the OP said is true

Ya Bill , i think the frustration is the constant cutbacks to the MNR budget is what really irks us ... i know there are more efficient uses of technology now to deliver services , so as with any change it will just take time

Yes I know what you are saying Bill, I always research regs prior to going out but , sometimes you could be in a situation where you have a unplanned opportunity to fish and need regs readily available ... i always keep a current copy in my truck

sounds crazy to waste that much water .... an open water supply like that is likely to get crap from birds, insects and animals just dump in some chlorine tablets for gods sake !!! i don't get it ....
