  1. You swine, now there's coffee snot all over the keyboard again
  2. Definitely, and while your at it, make sure the boat is strapped tight to the trailer, that way the only thing going up and down is the suspension, not the boat slamming up and down on the bunks or rollers.
  3. It's a small (1/8"long) crustaecean that clings to your line in significant numbers and when you retrieve your line can plug up the rod eyes, it sort of looks like loooong green boogers clinging to your line.
  4. He should have to pay for his own ammo.
  5. I think you been breathing too much of the E-tec smoke buddy, Honda has been running in Europe for quite a while, and has passed the specs there according to my manual since 1993.
  6. Merc has 75% of the market, makes for more convenient servicing...maybe they need more serviceing places, 12 years with the same Honda and it's on the second set of plugs, and has not seen a mechanic.
  7. BLASPHEMY a 2 stroke Honda... You shouold suffer a beating with a dead carp caught by Photoz
  8. More than most could imagine Rick.
  9. Without going into gory details, there have been some horror stories about "that" dealer, friend of mine was one to suffer. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that place.
  10. Don't quote me on this, but, where I worked before we had a rule that was "blessed" by the local MNR, when asked if it was prudent to euthanize the animal for fear of it possibly causing more damage by struggling to go back on the road, you used whatever reasonable means are available to prevent it and dispatch the animal without undue suffering.
  11. Don't really know why you "need" a VHF amp, I've got a older Uniden MC1010 with an 8" antenna and have no problem going 12 miles with that.
  12. You must have quite a few miles on it by now, so far so good, maybe it will have more followers.
  13. I see everyones following instructions again, not where, why, who, how many, yes or no, and for me no.
  14. I use only Choronzy's mix now, even if your oil isn't quite hot enough, the fish won't stick in the pan.
  15. You got my vote. I usually check them at the coffee stop too, quick touch to see if they're running cool/cold.
  16. Unload, pretty much the same, tie 25 feet of launch rope to the winch leg, undo all straps and safety chain, inspect launch, back up, tap brakes, boat slides off, drive fwd, get out tie off the boat, go park. Load, back trailer into water just touching the rear center roller to water, hook winch strap to bow eye, crank, saftety chain, go park somewhere out of the way and finish the tie downs and securing all the kit and caboodle. Then get out the last cup of coffee and watch the entertainment.
  17. All the players going to wear miners hats and play with a glow puck?
  18. And seeing as how the monitor can be classified as giving off light, maybe just maybe, we won't have any posts for an hour.
  19. What about the people that don't have/can't get hooked up to the internet yet, another too bad, soooo sad scenario. The only thing missing at CTC is a womens fashion corner, I frequent Princess Auto a lot more than CTC.
  20. You really wonder from what gene pool judges come from: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/hells_angels_verdict
  21. No, I would give it another week or so and then go check, we used to fish there just before ice out and when it starts melting around the docks.
  22. Go to a shop that deals with the motor you plan on buying and ask them, some do the check hot, some cold, that way you'll have a straight answer. All things bright and shiny can hide things on the inside that may look good from far, but far from good lookin. Do it right=peace of mind.
  23. One important thing no one has mentioned is size. It may be good to try it one and be happy in the standing position, but go sit and squat to make sure there's room enough for the family jewels and other parts, and, room enough to put on a fleece or sweater under it on cold days. Better a bit loose than looking like a knackwurst ready to explode.
  24. Well a number of years ago, everyone went crappie fishing in the Barrie Marina, about the 4th row of docks, right in front of the brick marina building. 2lb line, spitshot with a #6 or #8 hook, tiny minnows or rubber grubs or maggots with a slip float set to about 4 feet. Mostly before sunrise or after supper to about 10pm. If I give you any more, I think someones gonna shoot me.
  25. Take a close look at the rod locker locks, I've seen some that had a small number stamped in on the face, that's the key number. For the trailer tongue, if it's one of the locks that goes through the locking lever, look underneath, see the 3/4 or 13/16 nut...undo it, the assembly should then come off the top to replace or cut off the lock.
