  1. Okay, maybe I've read something wrong in his second post where he says " One set of cables goes directly to only one battery (positive/negative) terminals. And the other set of cables goes directly to the other battery (positive/negative) terminals. The batteries are separate from one another...not connected to each other in any way.....I hope that made sense. I should have paid more attention in science class!!!" So I would "assume" that he uses one battery for a while and then physically switches the alligator clips on the trolling motor to the second battery. Maybe a bad assumption.
  2. Terry, this does not make sense, if he has the batteries separate, not connected in any way other than with the 2 bank charger, why is the charger on bank one seeing both batteries. Each bank should charge separately for the needs of each battery. Makes no sense you have to disconnect one battery and charge one at a time, defeats the purpose of having a 2 bank charger.
  3. They are caught more often in the winter off Minets Pt, Johnson Beach and further down the bay, not quite deep enough around Centennial.
  4. Last time I was there, LeBarons had a variety.
  5. ZOT...you're now forgiven..
  6. You ain't never wiring my house, white is neutral. 12/3 black & red are hot, white common, copper is ground.
  7. Run another 12/2 from the first light to the second light in parallel, IOW, tie black to black, white to white, NOT in series.
  8. I'll bet you threw out the instruction booklet eh? Take off the side cover and apply a small amount of "reel lube" to the gearset and spool shaft. You can get reel lube at.....IGA, Sobeys, Tackle Store. It probably wouldn't hurt to take off the spool and dust out underneath with a Q tip too.
  9. When you check the Merc (Black Anchor) site, they should give it under the motor specs. See here: http://www.mercurymarine.com/engines/outbo...specs.php?ID=77
  10. =====Darwin Awards candidates that unfortunately failed, give it time, they'll pass at something stoopider.
  11. Well I guess if you have your own oil well, refinery and gas pump, I don't imagine it's the most economical motor to run.
  12. Ya, I've got one of those coins somewhere, they were also given out in the Centennial year at schools, got mine at Highland Creek PS.
  13. You should know the answer to that...How many hooks allowed per line? What if it's an artificial with trebles, how do they count? Lets not invent scenarios.
  14. Not picking on you but...read it again. Boats don't fish..people do. Doesn't matter if you're fishing from a tire tube, surf board, your boat, the Quenn Mary, it's fishing line(s) per person, not per boat. Like Terry said, about Tobermory, directly north and west is allowed 2 lines, the rest of GB, one line.
  15. How much for the bag (of food)?
  16. Okay, suppose the fish can digest at a real fast rate and can poop out the hook and attached line, is it then caught by the arse or through the mouth... or, is the fish ultimately trolling with a line and bare hook? Inquisitive minds need to know, and some need a sign..
  17. Well said GCD!
  18. You're another one, so why bother with the lure, just tie on a treble with a clod of lead.
  19. Another one that can't read or understand the rules, just poaching a little bit eh?
  20. Very simple way to check the trailer lighting, take a 12V battery, heck even a 6 volt will probably do. Negative terminal to white, take another wire from the +12 on the battery and probe the yellow-l turn, green-r turn and brown for all other running lights at the trailer plug. If they don't light up in this test, your trailer wiring is T/U. No other lights should illuminate durning the individual tests.
  21. Ya, good ol sleep apnea, I went for the sleep test, just a mild to moderate case. I tried the full face mask, for 3 weeks, forget it, most I got was an hour and a half, went back and tried the nose only mask. Even with reduced pressure and no warmth enabled, it was a fight to go more than 2 hours. The funniest thing I experienced 2 times was a bit of overpressure, maybe forgot to exhale and the air went in to my stomach, woke up in a fit, farting and burping like a wild man, darn near hurled up two days of food. That was the end of my trial. I got off the night shifts, got a tempure pedic mattress and feel a whole lot better.
  22. Well I think if you buy fish at a store it is "usually" wrapped up with a meat counter sticker or in a bag of some description and you get a bill of sale. This "party fishing" granola isn't right either, JMO.
  23. Oh no arguement there for gifting, but I'm pretty sure if it's in transit, you have to have a name and outdoors card number attached. Almost got boned once taking fish home for someone else until I produced the other guys note with all his required info.
