  1. I finally got my camera back with the pictures of my new (3 weeks ago) puppy from the shelter. He is now a 3 month old Red Tick coon hound. He was born at the shelter with a litter of 8 others and is now getting used to being a farm dog. His name is Hunter and he has a nose that he uses very effectivly finding all of the bunny, deer and squirell trails that were made in the farm. Here are a few shots of him when he was 2 months old. 2. once his blood sobered up he was fine.... Art
  3. Looks like a nice one their but were do you put the gas in it to make it run??? Art
  4. Mycoplasma pneumonia is transmitted from person-to-person contact through respiratory secretions during coughing, sneezing or oral contact. Mycoplasma pneumonia has an incubation period of about 1 to 4 weeks. The Southern Contingency will not be able to send up our ambassadors if you all are going to let Roy get them sick. Hope you are feelin better to Roy. Art

  6. Woooo I feel your pain bud I hate it when yaa get so ill you cant find comfort in anything. It does not happen often to me but every once in a while Joe or someone get the pleasure of drivin me to the emergency room with a kidney stone or somethin. Take your meds and get some rest bud. Art
  7. I would offer you some advise Joey but in the Southern dictionary it does not have a listing for icicles. It says see unicorns and money trees..... Art
  8. If you have a concern of it being to close but it being the best place to put the antenna remember the only time it will radiate is when you are transmitting. Chose the channel then step back 3 feet and then transmit could be your answer. Art
  9. Sorry folks but my camera is in the shop getting repaired so no pictures but I did get a 16keepers of Soc olait big fish was 14 inches and smallest kept was 12. I got the potato wedges sitting in a bucket of cold saltwater getting ready for the fish fry tonight. Art
  10. I looked up "snow" in the Southern dictionary and it said. A mythological substance that is rumored to happen in the Northern parts of the States and Canada. Also see Santa Claus and Easter bunny........ go figure. Art
  11. sorry I confused yaa Douggles it made sense when Nuf had a circle on the bolt that holds the cage in place. I guess I should edit my post too but I am to lazy and it gives people something to talk about. Art
  12. Heres you answer Wayne mini track vehicle I am betting you can build it with out to much problems but hey it is only $1750 and you can be the first kid on the block with it. Art
  13. I had the same motor but have never needed to get to the thermostat. The bolt that is circled is the bolt that retains the bracket I don't think the tstat is their. The only heads up I can give you is it is a twin carb feeding 3 pistons.... that means number 1 or top piston will run leaner than number 2 and 3 because it has the longest air plenum from the carbs. Make sure that the jets do not get clogged or varnished the first sign is plug 1 will get fouled out with little pieces of aluminum from the piston head. You can take the plug out and see shiny spots on the face of the piston if it is occurring at that point fatten up the carb settings before it melts the piston and sticks a ring. Other than that it was a great motor. Art
  14. Sounds like the perfect job Lew not to many hours and you get to drive alot of different cars. You can go ahead and splurge now and get an ipod and fill it with all of the best drivin songs for the hours on the road. Art

We came home from Joe's house and undid our belts and watched a movie or two before it was bed time. 20. O.K. now just to refresh the rules here about the upcoming winter. So far your ambassador (crappiesteve) has not sat down to negotiate the exchange of warm air for cold air polices between the North and the South. Just as soon as we get together and negotiate the winter weather we will be more than happy to send some more of this warm and glorious weather we are enjoying down here. Why the other day we were all sitting around in short sleeve shirts drinking mint julibees and fanning ourselves. If anyone else wants to step forward and start the negotiations you are more than welcome. Last years winning combanation was 1 cigar with a beer chaser delivered to me at Lak Air. As an added bonus if you all act quickly we will include 10 sunny days with no wind at no extra charge. LEGAL MUMBO JUMBO::Please remember that the delivery of warm weather is thru the same coduit that you all get ride of your cold weather thru and we can not deliver the nice warm weather if you are clogging it up. No animals were hurt during the posting of this message. The weather wizard from down under Art
  21. Glad to see you got the boat out before the big freeze. Now you know it is ready for the spring softwater season. If your feeling a little overwelmed at the ramp you can go to a parking lot with a few cones or markers and practice your backing up. Have fun and be safe. Art
  22. I feel your pain if it is a part that is aimed at a spacific product then it will be expensive. I know that some of the parts we used on the jetskis when we were racing were hand made or custom molded and were understandably pricey. Some of the seals and off the shelf parts would get lumped in with the custom parts pricing structure and they made a huge profit. If you have the time to run around and match the off the shelf parts you can save alot of money getting them from another source. You have to be careful though some products may look the same but are made out of different materials I once installed a seal that was not gas proof and ended up doing alot of work for nothing. I would say that the part cost you $10.00 and the information/assurance that it will work was the other $10.00. Would it help if you thought of it as overnight shipping and research and development charge included???? Art
  23. Y'all make sure you take good care of our Dawg you know he is a national treasure now right. Glen if you need a place to stay on the way back call joe or me we can put you up and would be glad to see you too. I have PM roy our phone # incase you left them at home. Have a good trip and make us proud ( or as close as you can to it). Art
  24. I would caution you against buying a motor of that vintage without being able to repair it yourself. It will be cranky at best and if you need to send it to the shop something as simple as a coil will cost more than the motor is worth. Art
  25. go ahead and double them no want lets triple them that will show them bud. Art
