  1. sure is nice to see Marner shoot higher on the goalie, 90 % of his shots are along the ice, a few of the Leafs forwards need to take Marner's lead and shoot higher on the goalie while in the slot and in close. the two players I like watching are Dermott and Kapanen, when Dermott gets in trouble he is able to recover quickly because of his quickness, that's not something you can teach,Dermott just has to be careful because players are taking runs at him and keep his head up, and Kapanen because of his speed it almost seems like players are standing still because he is moving that fast. Hopefully Kapanen keeps getting better , and develops his offensive skills.
  2. two nights in a row the other team has attempted to injure or throw Andersson off his game, in the boston game Pasternak gives him an intentional shot(punch) to the head as he skates by the crease and the ducks player skates right thru the crease and knocks him out of the game. In my playing days (house league) you always knew who the dirty teams were and you had to give it back to them. It might be a good time to put Martin back in the line up and maybe pick up a player who plays tougher
  3. I bought some Canopy Growth (weed:tsx) this morning and will sell it hopefully within 2 weeks , with a 20% gain. this is my favourite and I think it is still the biggest
  4. I started buying some stocks in January, someone recommended FAANG or Facebook//amazon//apple//netflix//google, these are the ones I bought and some marijuanna stocks. The idea with the fang stocks is to hold onto them long term but still check up to see how they are doing, and the pot stocks can be traded more frequently. The pot stocks are more risky .I think anybody who trades in pot stocks has their favourites, I have about 2 or 3. I'll just add that the faang stocks and the pot stocks are 8 % of the money I have invested.
  5. tough loss for the leafs last night. I am sure the scouting report on Bernier was that he goes down in the butterfly and covers the bottom of the net pretty good and to SHOOT HIGH. I guess a few of the player's didn't pay attention.
  6. great video Simon, you made everybody google tulibee
  7. right from the start of the game they had someone in front of the net trying to screen the goalie or tip the pucks in, lately they have been trying to get the pretty goals with the perfect passes (wasn't working) . go leafs go
  8. one of the marinas on balsam in rosedale used to rent 16' with 25hp
  9. Leafs had way too many turnovers, Babcock should take a tally of who has the most turnovers every game and sit that player the next game. There are 4 or 5 players who turn it over 2 to 3 times every game
  10. do you have to balance the weight in the trailer? if you have the sled on one side and the frabil on the other is that enough to balance it
  11. sorry for your loss, all the best to you and your loved ones
  12. congrats on the move! eating fresh seafood every second day can't be all that bad.
  13. anybody ever heard of Primerica?
  14. check out bryan's farm auction, they have some on their online auction site, the auction ends on the 27th of this month
  15. launch still has not been fixed although the water has gone down, also I went down to the Rouge at port union and the gate was still locked to drive down to the parking anybody have any idea if they are going to open these areas this year?
  16. you can try the south side of Present Island and find the weed beds or fish out a little farther and use minnows or drop shot,
  17. Anderson made 1.3 million last year, I'm sure he'll be looking for a raise soon enough. I wonder if Ken Dryden would come out of retirement for 10.5 million?
  18. THE Rouge Park at the end of Lawrence ave east , the water is at the bottom of the hill before you go down to the parking lot, this was 3-4 days ago.
  19. since May 08, the water levels are up 5-6 inches in my estimation. the marina is kind of strange looking because the boats are tied up at their slips but the docks look like they are underwater.
  20. that last location looks like a good crappie spot when they are spawning?
  21. I think Adam needs the stability of a fibreglass boat, hopefully it won't be as tippy as an aluminium,, I looked at that boat online and the flat floor will make things easier. Is the boat open inside to see the fibreglass? If you think that is the boat for you, put a deposit down or buy it. Maybe next time you can find a 16 foot pontoon. good luck
  22. Sibbald's has the best launch in the area, you won't have to worry about line ups as there is probably enough room to launch 6 boats or more at one time. Don't forget to take a long anchor rope. good luck
  23. not sure where to catch pike, but you could launch at musky's landing(flat launch) near Port Severn, it's about a 10 min boat ride to Waubeshene . As someone else stated the launches in Waubeshene are pretty steep
  24. I was down there today, , the ramps are blocked off, they haven't finished the work because of the water levels, the walking path to tie the boats off after launching is under water.
