  1. Hope you get it rectified, Joe. Something has changed a setting somewhere. Just gotta find it and get her fixed up.
  2. It is really hard to find a server issue that only affects certain computers...very hard. This issue is cross-browser and affects only about 3% of users. We know it is because some computers are running something slightly different like maybe older java or something... But everything we coded and everything we bought should be degradable to about 2001. Knowing that people can use a different computer in the same house and have different results is baffling. I could not come up with a single thing that can create this which is why I gave up and passed it on to the experts. So far they are stumped too. If I could get the error here it would help alot, but its running fine for me. Anyone withthe problem and some web experience that can copy me any java errors or even the page source code I would appreciate it.
  3. I just talked to our host. Seems our brand new server has a software issue that no one can figure out as yet. Should there be no solution by tomorrow we will have to get another new server so they can take this one back to the manufacturer. I will see if I can get the transfer timed for Saturday at 2 am when we have little traffic should that need arise.
  4. I've got some ubergeeks doing some cleaning up and maintenance so you may get slow times...but all is well here at the moment.
  5. I take a 2 to 3 foot section of rope with a clevis on both ends. I clip one to the front tow hook and clip the other over the anchor rope after it is let out. Then I can just tie off the anchor anywhere and I will always be nose to the wind/waves. If you want some shock absorption, use a heavy duty bungee rather than rope for the short section. The anchor rope goes out and the clevis guides it to the front and it all comes in when I retrieve the main line.
  6. I always wear shoes. Never know when I'm going to step on something and having the tops of my feet burnt is an experience I don't wish to repeat.
  7. It's actually pretty cool for the rainy nights or when you got time to kill in the office. You program what kind of sites you'd like to see then push the button. Sends you to sites that others with similar interests recommended. Just be mindful of what you ask for...certain types of sites are apt to come up more often than others, if you know what I mean...but only if you've asked for it.
  8. I think we just hit it. 100,000 posts, 2,000 members and almost 25,000,000 page views. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
  9. There are several skins for the site. A few members were having issues with viewing the site so I simply altered the default setting so that this skin appears to those who have not logged in or set a preference to which skin they wanted. Be nice or I'll unleash the girly skin that I never did get finished. I have yet to hear back if this has fixed their issue. Trying to mail down a problem which is specific to certain computer set-ups and while it has only affected 4 people, I would like to figure it out so I can justify my ridiculous salary here.
  10. We're on StumbleUpon every now and then and wondered who uses it?
  11. Nice fish. Just click on the little picture icon and then paste the image URL into the pop-up box. See the pink arrow for correct icon. Result is.... [img=http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/grantmcallister/DSC00780.jpg] Which gives us this...
  12. Add a small amount of water to some paint and use a roller over the areas. Works good for me.
  13. Probably a firewall issue, then. Disable your firewall and try again. Also log out from the other computer, too.
  14. I can't believe that one guy took out the other car UNDER YELLOW! Dude was pissed off after that.
  15. Try another browser..this will help us narrow down the issue.
  16. It was caught in Europe. Or was it at Lakair? I think that was one fo the fish I caught to win the Crayola Tourney.
  17. Paul made the semi-finals where he sang 'Time to Say Goodbye'...again he brought the house down.. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object><hr> Paul then performed the full version of 'Nessun Dorma' for the finals.... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object><hr> The following night was the awards ceremony...and the winner is... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Paul performs for the Queen of England and released his first CD "One Chance". Within a week, Pauls CD reached number one in England and is on pace to break all records for a debut album (it is currently selling more albums than the next nine combined). He has been credited with introducing millions of younger people to Opera and millions of people who may have not ever had a reason to listen to it. He is just now gaining fame and recognition in Canada and the US with his album released here last week and it previewed at number 10. So how will all this money and fame affect a cellphone salesman? We'll soon see. I am introducing a 'Remember Paul Potts' program at work...designed to get our managers to realize we may have incredibly gifted people selling cell phones when they should be singing opera...if only we take the time to look...except we don't sell phones..but you get the idea. He has even got his teeth fixed!
  18. Says I should be a website developer...
  19. The brown arrow just indicates you have not yet read the post or a new reply was added since you last read it. Don't ya just love all the bells and whistles....until one of them goes screwy..then its a pain.
  20. Not my type of music either, but you cannot help but be amazed at this guy. I have more of him and will post it one per day.
  21. I was left speachless by this guy. I've never heard singing like this and from a cell phone salesman, nonetheless. The judges were stunned and visibly moved. The audience quickly picked him up as their favourite. This is from the show Britain's Got Talent..the operetta is Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
  22. Man..sound like every single outing I have, too. Welcome to fishing. You'll get it right and one night it all comes together...then you can't imagine what you did with your time before you found fishing. As far as bugs...it's a learned skill..knowing which one is about to bite and swatting him first. Otherwise take out the biggest one and hope it scares the rest of them.
  23. IF your boat is mostly out of the water at WOT and it handles properly at other speeds, no need to alter your tiller. That being said I noticed if I had anyone on board with me, my tiller plowed ALOT, so I moved it up one hole and it does handle better and move faster.
  24. I would also suggest a charter. Dalhousie does have salmon at night by mid August, but it is very hit and miss. Fishmaster seems to be dialed in on the salmon quite well this year.
